Prayer Requests

Please read the following prayer request.  And if you have any requests, please post them as a comment on here.  (Patrick put a link from the homepage to this page so you can easily get back to it.)  Also, if you haven’t listened to The Hebrew View of Prayer you should. -Skip

Skip, will you ask your supporters to pray with us? We are asking believers everywhere to pray for the release of our 32 year-old daughter from the occult. She recently re-established contact with our family after refusing to have any connection with us for almost 3 years.  She knows Christ but is caught up in much psychic-babble and is all but denying Christ.  We know that we are not warring against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in this dark world.  Please pray with us for Tracy’s release from the darkness of the tomb where Satan has led her and into the light of the only Way, the only Truth and the only Life. We are praying that she will one day simply cry out the name of Jesus.  When she does we know that He will meet her where she is and bring her back to Him.  All for His glory and for our good, in the mighty name of Jesus.  Thank you so very much for praying with us.

Prayer request: Our military foster son that has been in Iraq on a third tour for only about 8 weeks, has been injured in his knee. He has been sent to Germany for surgery, and then returned here to the Central TX Military base, and will be sent home to recoup. This requires so many adjustments for them: The three little ones: 5, 3 and one year old, have just begun to function without their father at home, now he returns incapacitated, and his wife has him to care for and take to medical appts., etc. The oldest two girls are in almost half day preschool at FB Church here, but they had to return early to TX for him to leave several months earlier than than the military originally stated, and their home was leased for 12 months. So they had to lease a place 11 miles out from town. The military base is the oppsite direction from the town where we live and the church is. The drive into town to church school may work ok, but I will be the one to pick them up and bring to my home, or take out to their place. As stated Chris or Suzanne’s parents do not live near, and really neither of their families has helped them in the past. Ed is very busy substituting at H.S., and is needed there. — Pray as the Lord shows you for Chris and Suzanne, and the girls–they are believers, and want to walk the talk. Please ask God for special health for this elderly lady to be able to help them as needed. We so love them all; the girls are smart, and very active! I really can not lift or care for the one year old though. When the three year old was about two, we were keeping them while their mother was in the hospital; we had grown grandsons visiting here from AZ, and the little two year old was tugging on my clothes, holding a New Testament upside down, while I was cooking, and demanding, “Read Bible book!”—– I probably will not write many comments for awhile.
