Africa Update

My faithful friends,

I have just finished a 9 venue tour of South Africa, teaching 18 times on God’s word about the Greek – Hebrew worldview and the ezer kenegdo.  The response has been nothing short of wonderful.  I spoke with hundreds of people.  The South African people have a deep sense of God’s handiwork and were most receptive to the message.  I am keenly aware of their desire to learn and to put into practice what God revealed.  They want me to come back.

And, of course, I want to come back.  This is a people who desire God.  I found their hearts more open than the hearts of the American church members.  I don’t know why this is the case, but following Henry Blackaby, I am anxious to join God here and be part of what He is doing.

So, while it is fresh on my mind, I am asking for your help to continue the work in South Africa.  Many people from cities I did not visit have already asked me to come and teach them.  And there are those communities in countries just over the border who are desperate to know what God says.  To make all of this happen, I need sponsors.  I am looking for people who will volunteer to help with the air fare for a trip back here in January.  The people here will assist with lodging, food and the venues if I can get here.

If you want to be part of something that is really shaking in this country, please become a sponsor of this work where God is actively changing the lives of men and women.  Just email me and let me know or make a one-time donation and attach a note that it is for South Africa.  Be blessed my friends.  This is a time of great change in this country.

Thank you,

I am one of those that was greatly blessed by Skip’s visit.

Yes, we definitely want him to come and teach again.

We have a very Greek-traditional religious concept of God in our country, and Skip’s teaching on how YHWH wants to be viewed is making a big difference.

Unfortunately, we still lack leaders who will stick out their necks and change the mainstream churches’ mindsets from Greek to Hebrew. I don’t know what Skip’s plans are for January, but I would like to see him touch some leader’s minds and hearts with the Truth of Yeshua and help them move away from leaven of traditional Greek thinking.

I for one was not offended in any fashion. I think all of us “american” believers suffer the same anxiety for our “brothers in the flesh”.

FORGIVEN!!

I have been meaning to recommend the African documentary “Pray the Devil Back to Hell” http://praythedevilbacktohell.com/ as a perfect example of women (a woman) operating in the ezer kenegdo role for their nation. It is deeply moving and I highly recommend it.

I used to think that the African matriarchal model was off. I now see that they are closer to our Creator’s plan!

Blessings and Shalom, Elisabeth
