I IMAGINE THE SAVANNAS OF AFRIKA ARE AS DRY & HOT AS IT IS HERE IN OKC/OK – SO I CAN EMPATHIZE WITH THIS PRIDE OF LIONS – THE LORD ONCE SPOKE TO ME LONG AGO & ASKED, “WHAT ARE THE LIONS DOING IN AFRIKA?” I HAVE NEVER FIGURED THAT ONE OUT BUT ALSO HAVE NEVER FORGOT THE QUESTION – WITH ME ALWAYS… ♥

For me, the lions represent a kind of “otherness;” unlike most humans, who have a tendency to behave like Swift’s “yahoos,” the lions tend to do exactly what they were designed to do.

Speaking of lions, I saw a great documentary on some humans who lived with the lions in Africa a few weeks ago, and think it was about the following woman:

It made me very sad.
