This series of lectures examines the cultural perspective on money, sex and power in order to draw insights for a contemporary application of Biblically based actions.  The series looks at the work of James Black, Nancy Pearcey, Jacques Ellul, Peter Leithart and John White as critics of the culture.  Then it turns to the biblical concept on idolatry, drawing conclusions about the culture from a study of the issue of idolatry in Israel.
