Thanks Skip,
With your permission I’d like to offer this photo with my forthcoming book, “KING and the COWBOY,” about my youthful days as a western entertainer on stage and radio. As a cowboy singer and trick roper, I headlined across the Midwest as, “Smilin’ Bill and His Wonder Horse King.” King was a beautiful Palomino stallion that I had taught to perform on stage with about 20 different acts.

Hey Skip what aquarium were you at for this shot? Nice vibrant colors and contrast.

Remember the scene from The Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy and her friends visited the Emerald City?

There they beheld a most unusual carriage horse, whose coloring actually changed from one hue to another … and another.

Dorothy gasped and said to the Emerald City guard of the Gate, “What kind of horse is that? I’ve never seen a horse like that before.”

And the gatekeeper replied, “He’s the Horse of a Different Color, you’ve heard tell about.”
