My Friend Mark

You all know that Mark Randall is responsible for the fabulous website.  He put in hundreds of hours to make it so friendly and beautiful.  Now I want to tell you that Mark needs work.  He needs anyone out there who is contemplating web development and design to get in touch with him.  His work speaks for itself, but he is also a great follower of the one true God, a Torah-observant gentleman with an amazing story of recovery and restoration.

So, I’m asking (and reminding).  If you have some work for him, please keep it in the family and give him a chance at the job.

You can reach Mark at websolutionsbymark@gmail.com

Mark sorry but I cannot assist but do offer you a prayer in support for your quest
my the searches for a designer be directed to your advertising campaign as it is when we do what we can and make our needs known that God opens doors where we never knew they existed.

May God provide you the opportunities you need to both serve him and your survival need.

Trust in Him fully.

Mark Randall

Thank you, my friend and brother, for the most awesome write-up and recommendation.

And thank you to the readers of TW for your prayers and for your responses.

I have a friend and brother who owns a concrete scanning, coring, and drilling business, I also built his website, who reaches out to me when he needs my help. He knows I need the work too. It’s a very hard job physically but, he pays me well so I gladly appreciate and accept the work. It was pouring down rain this morning and we were having to haul hundreds of pounds of heavy drilling equipment up and down ladders, the construction site hasn’t gotten stairs built nor was there any man lifts erected yet. I hadn’t been able to check my email or to even make sure the TW had been sent out this morning because I needed to be up by 3:30am in order to make the 2 1/2hr road trip to Seattle from Olympia, which in itself is a nightmare, and probably more dangerous than the job. Don’t get me wrong, this would most definitely be an awesome job for someone 20-30 years younger than myself. Or if I were in the half the physical shape I’ve been in most of my life. But I’m not and most assuredly I pay the price the next day.

So, imagine my surprise when I started getting email notifications from people wanting estimates, offering suggestions for companies that may be a good fit with my skill set, or just inquiring as to the possibility of help I could be to them and what I would charge! I believe I had about 6 contacts by 9am my time(PST). All of the inquiries, of course, mentioned they had seen the post made by Skip. Needless to say, I took a minute to check my other emails. And there was this most awesome post from my good friend and brother in the Lord, Skip Moen. Darn near made me bawl. Not very becoming, mind you, on a construction site.

Yes, Skip has mentioned my “amazing story of recovery and restoration”, and it is. The Creator of heaven and earth causes amazing things in our lives, but that’s a whole different story….

Almost 6 years ago I went back to college and re-educated myself in the web development/media design and production fields(again, part of that “amazing story”, mercy, compassion, and greatness of our great God). It was my intention and plan, to create websites for ministries, helping to deliver Torah based/full bible teachings, biblically grounded, Yeshua centered information, and help it be delivered around the world. I also wanted to help people within the community I belong to be able to create for themselves economy and provide for their families by making them websites in order to create, promote, and sell their products and services. I’ve even tried to expand into making just general websites for others as well. However, I learned very quickly, that it wasn’t very easy for me to find work. Mainly because I refuse to build websites for people or businesses that don’t honor, or rather dishonor, the God that so lovingly allowed me to learn the skills I have. And trust me, I’ve had to turn down some very good offers. Some of which, I’m fairly certin, was just a test for me.

So, again, thank you Skip. And thank you to the “Hebrew Word Study” community for your faithfulness to HaShem, your commitment to the TW family, and your kindness to me.
