WHAT IF
What do you think your life would be like if:
- you really believed that God is the sovereign ruler of every single event and action and thing in the universe
- you knew that every single thing that happens in your life is because God wants it to happen
- you treated God as the sole owner of all your possessions
- you remembered every day that the only reason you are alive is because he has a purpose for you this day
- you knew that your past sins were really completely erased from God’s record
- you acted on the basis that every day was a completely new start
- you lived as if God would call you home tomorrow
- you really believed that loving your enemy was the right thing to do
- you really were desperate for God
- you knew that only God could satisfy your deepest longings
- you treated your spouse with the same reverence and awe that you held for God
- you made a point of acting out your love toward others even when they didn’t ask
- you gave away anything God prompted you to
- you kept an open channel of prayer between you and God all the time
- you never told God how your life should be
- you really believed that self-sacrifice was the way to happiness
- you never regarded yourself better than anyone else
- you were never too busy to show care and concern for someone else
- you deliberately listened for the voice of the Holy Spirit whenever you made a choice
- you never missed a chance to tell someone about the change in your life
