Dragonflies eat mosquitoes so you must have a bunch of them if you have never seen dragon flies in your yard before, or did you mean THIS dragonfly?
This dragonfly. Last night there were about 2 dozen dragonflies buzzing around but this one is the only one that every rested with the butterflies.
Funny, I was walking yesterday with my dog Max (a yellow lab) and my daughter Sinead.
While we were walking through the park, Sinead said “hey Dad, look at those two dragon fies.”
At the time I thought “I was wondering why Skip put that photo of the ugly old bug up next to the beautiful young butterfly.” 🙂
