WELL, a picture perfect cluster of Plumerias, the Hawaiian lei plants blooming–Iam wonder the month this was taken and is it in Florida?

I have had several from our Houston daughter and her sister-in-law, two have been kept year-round inside the garden room of our house. The others get moved in and out each winter. But with the extreme heat, and bad draught for last two years, they only bloom once a year, and that is in the spring. The 4 seasons, dry air, and alkaline soil here, simply does not allow us to have normal Tropical Plants. But I am an avid plant grower and so love them, that if people give me Tropical plants, I will work very hard trying to keep them alive.
Once I took an orchid from my daughter, that had bloomed and that was it. ( many varieties, but this was not one that women wear normally) -I kept it a year, repotted it in a soil that I mixed for it, and then in the spring I sat it outside on a patio area with shade covering it. Watered it each day with non-chlorine water, fertlized as I thought was needed. It put on one of the most beautiful blooms, like you would find in the hidden Amazon. I do have a picture, but not on digital.–
– I will always look at photos of plants, appreciate them, but usually do not reply. I joined the Herb Club when we moved here nine years ago, and have had 23 varieties of herbs in our yard. I use them not only for cooking, but for landscaping. Yes, right now, I have garlic chives in full white blooms that border flower beds in several areas, they are lovely, one small space has pink garlic chives– unusual here.
God has overflowed my life with an abundance of things that I never dreamed I would have, as I never sought to earn or make money. Just help my husband meet the provisions of life, and give. save a little. And I actually discouraged my husband from going into areas where he could make money. The Systems of the World did not persuade me. — Of course, you look at them and evaluate them, but the bottom line is do you follow them. I pray that my children and grandchildren will so choose God’s Way, and I pray that for all those that I come in contact with that seem to be truly looking for the living Lord Jesus that came out of the Jewish culture. Toward the end of your life, you will truly see that it works so much better! We breathe & live and are in HIM. L.B.
