Many of you have asked about the people in Ranquitte, where we built the road. Ranquitte is far in the mountains, so there was little damage. But many of the children, parents and friends of those in Ranquitte were in Port-au-Prince and at this time none have been found. This is a desperate time for all. As I hear more, I will post it. Please pray for these families.
I donated to the relief fund via Food For The Poor, a Christian organization who’s founder I heard on Michael Medved’s radio show. (Apparently he was also making pleas to raise money on Dennis Prager, Bill Bennett, and Mike Gallagher radio shows as well yesterday.)
96% or more of your donation goes to help the needy. He said their overheads are incredibly low and their partnerships and procedures so good that they can feed a family of 4 in Haiti for $12 a month.
