Family Reunion Event: Cruise Nov 5 – 8th
2010 FAMILY REUNION
Friday – Monday NOV. 5 – 8
You’re Invited to the Inaugural Annual Family Reunion!
“I’m from Bombay.” “I live in Seattle.” “ I came from New York.” “I live in Honduras.”
Well…it’s time for our TODAY’S WORD FAMILY to get together. Imagine how much fun we will have being face-to-face after all this time?
So, join the first weekend in November — Friday November 5 thru Monday November 8 — and meet your brothers and sisters from around the world. Enjoy 3 nights on board the Monarch of the Seas (click here for more information about Monarch of the Seas), including stops at Coco Cay and Nassau, Bahamas. (Yes, you will need a valid Passport to enter and exit these countries. )
You’ll find everything from a relaxing day at the pool, spa, gym, games, entertainment, shore and land excursions and daily seminars with Skip Moen.
Here’s the itinerary:
What does the cruise cost?
We’ve managed to negotiate quite an exceptional deal…
- $381.59 per person. This includes an “Outside Stateroom” (2 people per room), food, seminars, taxes & gratuity.
- The first $105.00 per person is due by August 4, 2010.
- The balance ($276.59) is due by August 24, 2010.
Air transportation to Florida and transfers are not included. However, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines has a bus that runs from the destination airport — Orlando International Airport (MCO) — Port Canaveral. So there’s no need to rent a car or hire a taxi.
You’ll want to make sure that your flight arrives at Orlando Intl Airport (MCO) no later than noon on Friday, Nov 5th. And you’ll want to schedule your return flight for no earlier than noon, Monday Nov 8th.
If anyone needs sleeping arrangements before or after for difficult flight schedules, please let Rosanne and I know and we’ll do our best to make arrangements for you.
For any and all questions, please click here to email Rosanne Moen, or call 407-469-2496.
Man! That’s a fun way to get everyone together! I don’t think we’ll be able to make it though, as I can’t even fathom how to make that work with two little boys (I can just see them trying to jump overboard… maybe when they’re a little older, though).
Skip, would you record the sessions for those of us who can’t come for one reason or another? Or maybe even do a video session so we could participate remotely (I don’t even know if that’s possible) on one of the days, like Saturday or Sunday?
Just a thought! Thanks for putting this all together!
Hi Amanda,
Actually, you can bring the kids. There is complete Kids Camp activity on board and you just have to figure out the room situation (Rosanne can help). They will have a great time and you won’t be stuck with babysitting.
I love my kids, but I also love babysitters! 🙂 This one will have to be prayed over as there are additional issues. Who knows what God has in store. 🙂
I am from South Africa – so will not be able to make it. To all the others – Have a great time. Love Sanja
Regrets.
One spot on the cruise ~ new tires. My husband pumps 2 of his up every day; the used tire guy does not (yet) have any in sizes that will fit. The ones for the car are more like airfare for one to FL; the vehicles likely would not make it there and back were we to drive.
Annnnnnnnd as I said on the survey, e-lists are not the same as other types of fellowship. The tone will change when a few here and there are phone buddies/cruise friends and classroom acquaintances. It may be a good change. We’ll see.
God go with you all.
Hi Skip & Rosanne, would love to come and be part of this, but alas Oz is a bit far to travel from for 3 day cruise. trust heaps of people can attend and many benefit from the fellowship and teaching. shalom to all.
ps Hey Sanja where abouts in Sth Africa are you?? i spent 18mths in SA – a long time ago now – 1992/3 – lots of fond memories cheers Christine Sth Oz
