Delivery of Books
Between November 29 and December 25, I shipped more than 200 books to readers. If you ordered BEFORE December 23 and you have not received your order IN THE UNITED STATES, then I need to know. Several people have had problems with orders due to the general mismanagement of the post office. So far I have replaced 12 books that were never delivered (or strangely disappeared when the post office claimed that they delivered). I have been told by the post office that due to the Christmas backlog it could take up to a MONTH for delivery. Don’t ask me why. Government efficiency at work.
Obviously, this is not only frustrating but expensive. Each book that I replace doubles my cost but I want you to have what I write, so please let me know if you were expecting a delivery that did not arrive. I have tracking labels on every shipment – but sometimes all that means is that I know the shipment was sent and no one seems to know where it is.
Thanks for your patience.

Skip,
I have not received my books. I ordered before Dec. 23rd. I hope the P.O. didn’t lose them…for both of our sakes. :))
Happy New Year!
Thanks,
Kish Swift
According to the Post Office, your book order was processed in Cincinnati on Dec 4 and it currently in transit to you. I have no idea why it takes so long, but please hang in there. I will watch the tracking from my end, but please let me know if you get it in the next week or so.

Hi Skip,
I ordered your dissertation some time ago but it never arrived.
Don’t worry about it, I will just order it again.
Just got back from Tahoe, where I took my two kids and their friend (12 -14) snowboarding.
I had been fighting off the flu for some time in the first place, and because Max is a “whole male.”
Just finding him a place to stay, frazzled my mind.
Preparing for the trip, under the circumstances, was quite an ordeal too.
We stayed in Heavenly Valley but, unfortunately, were met with blizzard conditions.
The gondola ride to the top of Heavenly looking down at the lake is one of the most beautiful sites in the world.
But getting three kids fed, equipped, and up to the top of the mountain, in time for a lesson.
Is one of the most challenging experiences, I’ve ever had.
On the last day my son Sean was able to make it down mountain on some fairly rough terrain.
And I was very happy to be there skiing right behind him.
I was Able to read your daily Hebrew Word Study and a good portion of The Guardian Angel.
And delighted to find an implied reference to the The Scarlet Letter in the critique of the androgynous Adam.
But I do not like to respond in writing unless I have read the subject matter several times.
And know that what I say is what I mean 🙂
Dear Michael,
I have your order for Jesus Said to Her and for Guardian Angel (both shipped and delivered), but until yesterday, I did not have an order for God, Time and the Limits of Omniscience. I have it now, along with your very generous gift to the ministry. I will send the book right after the holiday. Have a great time with your kids. I know personally what that is like. I have 4 myself.
