Calling You: Phone Tag
Thanks to so many who sent phone numbers. Now I have about 400 people to call. At 4 or 5 a day, I will be at it for awhile. But it is all so good. I am learning more and more about who we are, what we desire from the Lord and how we are connected. Here’s one thing I think may come from this:
Obviously, I can’t be the SINGLE point of contact for everyone. But I think I can begin to connect you (plural) to each other based on common needs or experiences.
So, I spoke with a lady who is potentially facing breast cancer. Certainly there is someone among us who knows this only too well. Perhaps I can connect the two of you.
I spoke with a family that is struggling with teenage immaturity with long-lasting effects. I am sure there are others who could offer guidance and prayer.
I spoke to a man who lost his life-long ezer. Certainly some other man can help with this one.
I have spoken to several who have been out of work for a long time. My wife knows what this is like. Perhaps another one or two would be willing to offer comfort and hope.
I have talked with a lot of people who just feel alone. Do you, my reader, have a place in your heart to connect with one of these brothers or sisters?
One woman told me that her most painful circumstance involves her own family members who have been caught up in the world’s success measurements. Can someone share that experience?
There will be more. But for now, if you have one of these similar burdens, email me (privately) and I will start draws lines between the dots.
