God, Logic, Time and other brain teasers
Some time ago I gave a lecture to a graduate class on several questions concerned with logic, thinking about God and certain issues in theology. You might be interested in this. Here is the link (if you have the time – it’s pretty long).
The seemingly repetitive inability for some of the hearers to grasp the concept of the law of non contradiciton and self contradiction makes one realise how doggedly we can hold on to deep and ingrained ways of thinking without frequently ‘renewing our minds’. Enjoyed the discussion very much but as you say wish the mike picked up the students comments more clearly.
