THAT IS INTERESTING – LOOKS LIKE A MAN NURSING FROM A DOG OR WOLF – IS THAT WHAT IT REALLY IS OR AM I JUST SEEING IT DIFFERENTLY THAN WHAT IT REALLY IS – DOES THAT MEAN SOMETHING TO PEOPLE IN SAN SALVADOR??? jan
Yes, there was an Italian contingent of immigrants in San Salvador. The grave reflects their past presence

The statue is indeed a representation of the Roman myth about Romulus and Remus. And it really is in the graveyard of San Salvador, El Salvador. I thought that alone was worth the picture. It certainly demonstrates the pervasiveness of our Greek-Roman-Latin heritage in all parts of the world. But when I saw the cloud behind the statue, I couldn’t resist taking the photo. The nuclear age comes to the graveyard of Rome.

Romulus and Remus?
That is correct. But what is that doing in San Salvador?

WOW – I DIDN’T EVEN REALIZE THERE IS A MUSHROOM CLOUD BEHIND IT – WAS TOO FOCUSED ON THE STATUE – COULD BE A VERY PROPHETIC PHOTO… ♥ jan
Amazing picture, HOW did you capture that?!
