I have thouroughly enjoyed taking in all of this teaching in Matthew. Chapter 24 is like such a huge steak. I almost felt the class ate threw it too fast. I have herd taught that Jesus was giving the audience a big clue as to His return. Kinda like if I said I don’t know when I will see you but I will see you …gobble gobble.. hint hint turky day. Point being that the thief in the night was refering to something about when the priest clothing would be set on fire by the watch if he fell asleep. And know one knows day nor hour refering to rosh hashanna as when it starts. Also the longest loadest trumpet is blown then. Was this also what Jesus was hinting to? And wasn’t the moon and sun thing he was refering too was the bloodmoons that occurr on the holy days and the rare elclipse that occurs on some rosh hashanna’s
