A Small Request

Dear Readers,

My wife, Rosanne, needs to have gall bladder surgery.  We have recently discovered that she has two gall stones.  Should these move but be unable to pass through the small ducts, she would enter into a life-threatening emergency situation.  All the doctors recommend that she have her gall bladder removed – soon.  We have no medical insurance, so we are going to a hospital in San Pedro Sula right after the first of the year to have this surgery done.  The cost is about 15% of what it would be in this country.  The family that owns the hospital (a family of doctors) are friends.  They are very kind and we will be in very good hands.

I am asking you to pray that God will provide us His rest between now and then, and that He will keep Rosanne in good health until we can get to Honduras.

Thank you.

Loving Heavenly Father we bring Skip and Rosanne to You right now in this moment in time. We ask that You please heal her and let them travel safely and bless them with the rest they desire and need. We know that to be whole and healthy is Your perfect will for us. We bless Your Holy Name. We give You all the glory and honour. Your loving kindness is forever and ever. We come against all evil intended against Your son and daughter. We pray this in the precious Name of Moshiach. Amen and Amen!

Quality Apple Juice contains malic acid which softens (calcium) and breaks up gall stones so they can be passed painlessly, even large stones. Just thought it might be worth investigating. I’ve done a gall/liver flush and passed several small stones without any pain using an olive oil/lemon juice flush.

Praying.

Skip, I just wanted you to know we are praying for your wife here in Colorado. Much love and appreciation for your studies.

Yes, Skip, I am praying. After the surgery Roseanne will have to be on a low fat diet. I would be happy to provide nutritional education counseling free of charge. You might want to talk to my coauthor Dr. Couey for some advice on nutrition precautions she should take until the surgery.

Helen

Skip, I pray in Yeshua’s Name that your wife Rosanne will be completely healed. I pray that her surgery goes by without incident and that YHWH guides the surgeon’s hands. I pray for peace and strength for you and your wife and your family. I pray that Rosanne recovery will be speedy and without complication. I thank our Father for this. In Yeshua’s Name. Amen.

Rosanne

Hi Anthony,

Would you write to me and tell me your symptoms, surgery and recovery. I would be very interested to hear from someone you has had the surgery. MAny people advise doing the cleanse but my fear is if the stones too big to pass then I risk massive infections to my gall bladder and other organs. Please reply to my e mail. Rosannemoen@mac.com

Thank you,
Rosanne

Yes dear brother Skip will be praying and believing for your wifes’ healing from the LORD. Who forgives all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, redeems our life from destruction and who crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies, etc so that our youth is renewed like the eagles. (Psalm 103).
In the meantime may He give you both His peace.

His love to you both.

We have had many success stories on a gall bladder cleanse that has cleaned out stones painlessly and no surgery needed. It can be found on the internet and is very simple and natural. My mom and dad and several people we know have done this. I would recommend this therapy as you wait for the surgery after the first of the year.
You drink unfiltered fresh apple juice for three days and the juice softens the stones. On the night of the third day you drink half a cup of olive oil, chilled to go down easier and you can drink a little lemon juice to take the taste out of your mouth. Then you go to bed and sleep on your right side. By morning your body should be ready to rid you of whatever is in your gallbladder. By the way make sure you have all day to do nothing. You wwill be going to the bathroom alot and You will not feel very good for probably 12-24 hours. My mom said she had more energy than she had had in over ten years after and she was 60 when she did it.. Here are a few sites to read and get your own opinion. I would recommend it to every one even before gall pain.. I ha.ve done it myself twice to prevent gallstone buildup. Im only 38 but want to stay healthy. I pray this is a blessing. It is only a cleansing suggestion and not a cure or healing. Just a way to keep the body cleaned up.
Love and blessings from a sister in christ.

You and Roseanne will be in my prayers Skip, for the provision of all needs to be met and His Shalom through it all

Just a second testimony to Michelle’s recommendation. I’ve done the olive oil/lemon juice cleanse also, and passed stones painlessly. It’s believed the malic acid in the apples dissolves the calcium in the stones so they break up and soften. Even large stones ( up to the size of a quarter) can be dissolved.
You need a gall bladder to assimilate many vitamins and minerals (fat soluble vitamins and minerals)- keep it if you can. The gall/liver cleanse really is worth a try. See a naturopath if she possibly can for an opinion.
Praying all will be well with Roseanne.

Ron@Jan

Dear Skip and Roseanne,

I too have successfully experienced this gall bladder cleanse with excellent results. If you wish to know more, please email me and I can put you in touch with a person who has blessed many hundreds of people with successful and professional care. She is a believer in Yeshua who has devoted her life to aide in healing those in need by simple, non-surgical means at a small fraction of the cost. Our prayers are with you both!

Would love the referral too

“A small request”

Hi Skip,

I’m very sorry to hear about your situation

And will pray for you and Rosanne and your good health on your trip to Honduras

As you may recall, I had arthroscopic surgery myself on my gall bladder some time ago

Together with a small stroke and some other complications

And the cost would have bankrupted me and my family without insurance

The arthroscopic surgery itself seemed almost miraculous

As it healed so fast without any pain

It would be wonderful it your friends had access to that technology

In any case, I pray for you both to have a good trip

And will send you some finacial aid as well

Brian

Skip and Rosanne,

I have used the cleanse mentioned above and I believe it is simple and safe. The hardest thing is consuming the olive oil. Bariani is the brand I would recommend. It is a cold extracted and unfiltered olive oil from California.

Govinden Samy

Thank you for the request. The Lord has everything in His hands. Just remember the host of heaven that is behind you is more than eyes can see. Sister Roseanne and the whole family are being kept in our prayer for quick recovery and we pray for God’s peace to be with you all.

Ester

Hi Skip, do try the above simple ways recommended in the above replies posted here.
Good Olive oil is very tasty, and very easy to take, soak small pieces of wholemeal bread in it, ’til it is dripping with the oil.
I had mine removed a long time ago, through prayers, but, it is ABBA’s doing of course.
Everything happens for a good reason, for a testimony. To strengthen our trust, or, for a divine purpose. A friend of mine was admitted to hospital, and discovered nothing was wrong with her, but she was given the opportunity to share and brought aother patient, next hospital bed to hers, back to ABBA!!
May ABBA YHWH’s will be accomplished, may HIS Shalom envelope you both and HIS Hand upon Rosanne and her healing. May His joy and protection be with you both! Amein!
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Gayle Johnson

Praying for Rosanne and for you. Relief from inflammation and pain, for the dissolving of anything that need not be, for restoration of proper functioning, and for rest and healing.

Edwin García

May His rest an peace fill your hearts.

You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in You.

DEAR SKIP, et ali i ( and others- et al ) Greetings,

Skimmed/read all 24 comments/prayers after reading ” A Small Request”.

Please no one be offended, but see what I thought when I read Jan Carver’s, ” We are all in agreement with what he ask and prays.” And I immediately burst out laughing,—- When with the 24 comments there was a great diversity in a large percentage of them, and of course some totally in conflict with one- another. That is of course, the way people are.
If you walked as I did this past week, with the death on Monday of one of my 84 year old Herb Club friends, the mother of my husband’s best friend and twenty year younger golfing buddy–none of her four sons lived near. Not even the one who golfs with Ed, just when he comes from his position in TX Tech about every three weeks to see about the needs of the ranch and his mother, does he play golf–if possible.– So we were helping with the Memorial Service, dealing with mud on the ground everywhere. Yes, PTL for rain, drought not ended yet-five yeas yet THEY say. tHIS WEEK, we also had plumbing problems, and the sewer caps, lines were dug up in several areas.—-Of course, the worker had never been to this older home of ours with huge tree trunks, and could only come Sat. -, someone had to stay home.
Yes, I missed the Memorial Service, but my “Herb Friend” was not there either, but her golfing Son and other sons & grandsons were, so Ed joined the group at the church.— MUCH Later, I had a wonderful time after the plumber was paid and gone, I sat by the fire place at night, and read the Bible and spent time alone with “THE GREAT I AM”. That gave me the abliity to have His peace, love, and joy in a world of turmoil.

A letter this week, from a dear life-long friend of mine, she wrote in remembrance of the death of her 22 old month baby boy the day after Christmas in 1961. I was there, walked through that with her. She said that publicly she had never written of the account before; and I was flooded with grief and agony this week, as I dealt with her account. Remembering anew all that she and her loved ones, two other children barely a year and half a part in ages, and friends went through- also a husband that closed up far more than he should have.
She did not mention this additional “account”, but she lost a 19 year son in a motor cycle wreck some years later.— he was not in alchohol OR drugs. —— NO ANSWERS TO MANY DIFFICULT QUESTIONS.

—BUT FOR GOD, WHERE WOULD WE GO? HE GIVES US PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM, AND CALMS OUR HEARTS–AND SOMETIMES ALLOWS US TO SEE THE HUMOR IN OUR MIDST. —
IF WE HAVE NOT WALKED THROUGH DEATH OR NEAR DEATH WITH OUR OWN CHILDREN, SPOUSES, WE ARE SO BLESSED. Let us give an abundance of Praise for that alone!

FOR SKIP; ROSANNE LET US ALL AGREE WITH A.W. BOWMAN– AS HE STATES, ‘”OUR PRAYERS YOU HAVE!”—-

AND A.W., PLEASE SEND YOUR WEB SITE, I HAD IT ONCE==COMPUTER CRASHED–LOST IT –BUT LIKED WHAT I READ.—
THANKS, LOVE TO ALL OF YOU–GOD’S DEAR CHILDREN
— AND ALONG WITH THIS DENOMINATIONAL ” REFORMED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH” WHERE MY FRIEND’S MEMORIAL SERVICE WAS HELD SAT.: I WAS RESTORED ONCE MORE- ANEW WHEN I READ THE AFFIRMATION OF FAITH:
i BELIEVE IN THE GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY, MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.
AND IN JESUS CHRIST HIS ONLY SON OUR LORD; WHO WAS CONVEIVED BY THE HOLY GHOST, BORN OF THE VIGIN MARY, SUFFERED UNDER PONTIUS PILATE, WAS CRUCIFIED, DEAD AND BURIED; HE DESCENDED INTO HELL; THE THIRD DAY HE ROSE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD; HE ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN, AND SITTETH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY; FROM THENCE HE SHALL COME TO JUDGE THE QUICK AND THE DEAD.
I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY GHOST; THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH, THE COMMUNION OF SAINTS; THE RESURRECTION OF THE BODY; AND THE LIFE EVERLASTING. AMEN—-( APOSTLES CREED, TRADITIONAL)—-( i did not grow up in a Reformed Traditional Church, and so reading this gave me hope that many of them, could be totally restored to the entire Word of the Lord.–L.B.)
