Hope Haven, Ukraine: An Update

As you know, one of our readers, Amy Gomes, is responsible for the first school for handicapped children in Ukraine.  With her own funds and time, she built Hope Haven.  It now serves children in a remote area of Ukraine; children who would otherwise never go to school, never be out of the house and in some cases, never walk or develop.  Amy is truly serving the least of these.

I thought you might like to see these children at a celebration party at the school.  Each child is filled with joy and delight.  They love going to school.  They all wanted to wear costumes.

At God’s Table, as a result of your generous gifts, is able to sponsor two boys at the school, one who is blind and the other who has cerebral palsy.  Thank you for donating so that we could do this.  God is using you all to be His hands and feet.  Here are pictures of these two little boys.

Thanks Skip…it was very moving to see what Amy is doing in Ukraine. May God continue to bless her efforts and give her an abundance of energy and resources to continue impacting these young lives for the kingdom.

Thank you for visiting the school site, watching the Christmas video and looking at the smiling pictures. As the weather gets colder, many parents keep their kids home but we must still pay salaries, utilities, heating oil, bus gasoline and maintenance expenses. Please consider helping with monthly support. 100% of all donations go to Ukraine. Hope haven is a 501c3 tax deductible organization. You can read monthly updates at the website or at hope haven Facebook page. It truly takes a community to keep the doors open to a first ever school opportunity for these sweet children of God. Thank you so much for joining Gods work in Ukraine.
