I just received a phone call from Bessy, the woman who faithfully translated Today’s Word into Spanish for many years. She lives in Honduras. She told me that her husband has been kidnapped. No one has yet heard a ransom demand. He disappeared on Saturday while traveling on business from one city to another in Honduras.
Bessy’s only request – URGENTLY PRAY for Italo’s safe return. Do it now, please.

Avinu Melkeinu your treasured servant has been carried away by Your enemies like Lot. They’ve hidden him away in the dark where we are unable to see. But You see him Abba and are mighty and able to save. We beg You please reveal Yourself now YHVH Tzavuot to smash Your enemies and bring the Salvation of YHVH to Your faithful servant now because of Your unmatched hesed toward those who love you and pursue You with all their might.
Rise up oh YHVH, be present now and all who hate you let them run as driven smoke is blown away. Let them melt as wax in the heat of Your fury. We ask that You act now for our good and for Your great Names sake that we may rejoice before You and praise Your mighty Name.
