Exceptions to the Rule?
“I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” John 14:6 NASB
But – It is common evangelical theology to assert that this statement from Yeshua excludes anyone who does not openly confess “Jesus” as savior and lord. Many preachers will confidently say that unless you accept “Jesus,” you are going to hell (with the hand basket J). They conclude, therefore, that even those supposedly upright, ethical individuals who actually demonstrate compassion and trustworthiness are nevertheless deluded. They haven’t met the requirement of accepting “Jesus.” They are doomed.
There are only two problems with this exegesis. The first is that all of the faithful Jews prior to the resurrection didn’t confess Yeshua as their savior. What are we to do with Abraham, Noah, Phinehas, David, Isaiah, Hosea, Deborah and the list of others from the Tanakh? The standard answer is, “They lived before the Messiah came. They worshipped and served God as best they knew, but now things are different. Now that Jesus has lived and died, everyone must accept Him. Those Old Testament saints accepted Him in principle because they looked forward to His coming. But now we must accept Him as He has been revealed.” There is some merit to this proleptic solution. But it opens a very wide door that is difficult to shut. If Abraham is saved because he looked forward to a Messiah whom he did not yet recognize, how is his favor with God any different than the grace God might show on the millions who live today without really understanding that the Messiah is Yeshua? You might include millions of God-fearing Jews, but I have more than that in mind. What about the Muslim who truly desires to serve God and who embraces all that he knows about God, but all that he knows is what Islam teaches. As far as he is concerned, Messiah Jesus is a Christian mistake. All he knows of Jesus is the animosity Christians have displayed toward Islam, beginning with the Crusades. Does this man really know Yeshua? Hardly! He knows a caricature of the real Yeshua; a caricature that he rightfully rejects. Exactly the same argument could be made for Torah observant Jews. What do they know of the real Yeshua? They only know the “Jesus” that the Church has portrayed, a Messiah that they must reject because that Christian Messiah stands in opposition to everything they know about God. If Abraham can be saved on the basis of his knowledge of God, then how is that different today? If you close the door on all god-fearers simply because they were born after 30 AD, what does that say about God’s grace? Does God send a man to hell simply because he has never heard the truth?
You might be able to argue your way around this problem. I doubt it, but then, who am I to say you can’t? However, there is another problem; a problem that comes from Scripture itself. It is found in Revelation 13:8. The NIV translates, “the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.”[1] 1 Peter 1:18-20 supports the idea that somehow Yeshua’s sacrifice occurred before the world was created, but wasn’t revealed until the event in human history. In other words, the atonement for sin accomplished in the death and resurrection of Yeshua preceded (in some sense) the creation of the first human being. What happened in 30 AD was merely the demonstration of this eternal offering.
If this is true, then Abraham, Noah, David and all the rest were “saved” because of this pre-creation sacrifice. Their standing before God relied on exactly the same foundation that supported Paul and Peter and John – and you and me. Abraham is not an exception to the rule. His salvation depended on Yeshua’s sacrifice before the foundation of the world just as yours and mine. He just didn’t know it!
Therefore, when Yeshua says “No one comes to the Father but through Me,” He is stating an eternal truth, not an evangelical criterion. The eternal truth is that without His pre-creation sacrifice, no one, not even Abraham, comes to the Father. But this is not a requirement of confession. It is an ontological reality.
There are many people alive today, as there have been since Man walked the earth, who know nothing of the true Messiah, either through ignorance or through deception. Nevertheless, they have hearts for God. They are Abraham, and just like Abraham, they come to the Father through the Son even if they don’t recognize that fact. It is the task of those who do know Yeshua to present Him in His historical reality, but that doesn’t alter the truth that He has been the needed sacrifice since before the world was created. The evangelical claim that you must confess this person or miss the blessing is myopic and misleading. Yes, if you know who He is, then you must do something about Him. But if you don’t know, He is still your access to the Father. He is just hidden behind the words, “In the beginning.”

[1] We will have to examine why the NASB and the ESV change the order of the prepositional phrases in this text so that the verse doesn’t portray Yeshua’s sacrifice preceding the creation. But that can wait for now.
Thought provoking stuff. You have to ask yourself the question, If God is good, then what happens to the mentally insane person or the tribesmen who never had the opportunity to hear about Jesus?
We are to obey the great commission — go carrying the Gospel to men everywhere. It is vitally important, else Yeshua/Jesus would not have given it. If we don’t, there will be some blood on our hands/(or call it accountability) for failure to do so, I think, for God who judges rightly knows where our pennies go — to support missions, send Bibles and teachers, or do we build bigger and bigger houses and buy more and more toys, [things beyond our needs.]
No one can really excuse himself because of ignorance. Not atheist, agnostic, or far-away tribesman.
“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” Rom. 1: 20
So all men and women everywhere can look at the creation and know that God exists. Ps. 19:1-4 explains that the creation speaks clearly of God in a language that all understand. “There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard” (vs 3). The revelation from nature is clear.
Another aspect of general revelation exists inside all men as a conscience. “What may be known of God is manifest in them” (Rom. 1:19).
God also gives dreams and visions. I have heard many Muslim testimonies of such. First they see/know there is a true God. Then they have a real desire to ‘know’ Him, a desire that God will always find a way to fulfill –this I believe as much as I believe the sun is overhead, I am certain, I have evidence enough, I don’t rely on anyone elses teachings in order to believe the sun is there.
I have never heard of anyone saved thru a dream itself, tho, God always leads them somehow to a person who knows and they can hear, believe, repent and choose to receive it for themselves.
And, btw, God is doing LOTS of that in Muslim countries now!! He is freeing many and making them His own sons and daughters. Blessed be His Name.
God is merciful and always does what is right. The mentally ill would fit in with those under the age of accountability. Not so if they reached the age of acc. and afterwards went insane–[many may be doing that to themselves with drugs, etc]
To assume that those who never hear the gospel are granted mercy from God, we run into a very tangled web! (not to mention opposition to Yeshua/Jesus who said go)
If people who never hear the gospel are saved, it is logical that we should make sure no one EVER hears of the redeeming work of our Lord. The worst thing we could do would be to tell them and have them reject it. If that happened, the person would then be certainly condemned.
No, rather people who do not hear the gospel are the lost, and must be, or else it is too risky to share. Why run the risk of people possibly rejecting the gospel and condemning themselves to hell when they were previously saved because they had never heard the gospel?

The first thought that went through my mind when listening to Moshe Kapensky and Jeremy Gimpel was, how will I as a believer in Yehua as the the Messiah, ever make them jealous?

There is truth in what you are saying, but I do not believe it is as widely encompassing or as easily formulated as you stated. There is much more of the truth of Christ in His own words, as well as the writings of Paul and Peter.
You article is thought provoking, but only reveals part of the eternal plan the Triune God founded for us pre-creation.
The answer is blood. Lamb’s blood. Innocent, blameless, pure, sinless, holy Lamb’s blood. And the answer is an atoning Sacrifice. One Sacrifice forever. Done. Finished. Final. Accepted. Complete. Our Messiah has said ~ This is the New Covenant in My blood ~

Carl this is an acceptional piece of history and up to date writing that you have placed on here for all believers to believe. Is this your own personal homework as it must have taken you a long time to bring together. Such a worthy homework indeed. I am NOT one that believes that when we die we go to heaven. I am already living in the kingdom of heaven by faith waiting as Titus 2:13 commends us.
Sorry Carl, it’s not that I disagree but the Scriptures don’t support most of your list unless we are observant to Torah. Even then much of the fruit of that list will not mature until the Millennium.
The church told me I would be a king and priest, the bride and the elect in the Millennial Kingdom of Heaven. It was empowering to hear from preachers and teachers of christendom but it’s false. It felt good but it won’t happen like that.
Yeshua teaches exactly what the three kingdom ages are in His never understood 30-60-100 three fold principle. The MK is for 1000 years of spiritual training in righteousness as seen in the Parable of the Mustard Seed that “MATURES” so a bird can rest in the tree that matured from a seed.
Every time 100 fold is used by itself it refers to the Eternal Kingdom. Everytime 30-60-100 is used, no matter the order, it refers to the Heavenly Kingdom, the 1000 year reign. Every time, there are no exceptions. You can verify all this in less than an hour.
There are ONLY three categories or groups that enter the MK according to Ezekiel 44. Yeshua defines these three groups as “leavened” sinners in Mt. 13:33 but He does not describe any roll or responsibilities in Heaven. Ez doesn’t mention a “threefold” label but he describes what the responsifilities are for two of the three groups. Special attention should be noted in his description of the two groups that have access to the temple where Yeshua ha Meshiach ben David reigns and rules. Only one of the two groups is allowed “to come near Me” (THE HIGH PRIEST). This is the 100 fold group which means the 60 fold group was not spiritually mature enough to “near Him.” The third group is labeled “rebellious.” Why? Because they never learned Torah, they are spiritually immature. Even the 100 fold is not the bride in the MK because the maturing takes place over a 1000 years. Remember: all three groups are “leavened,” but the 100 fold group which is the “elect” is allowed access to our King because the Father “rewards.”
This short explanation begs the question: if the 30 fold “rebellious” group is not even allowed near the temple, where are they, what do they do?

This study unveils the mystique of the Kingdom Age making it a tangible physical place not the ethereal and formless image that emanates from our imaginations. Jim…Yes and a very small no!!! Many people believe in “god,” but as theologian NT Wright has stated: ” I would not get out of bed on Sunday to worship that god…. No I believe in the God that has been revealed in Yeshua the Nazerine.” In short, if you believe in God, which is code for, if you trust in God and if you trust that God raised Yeshua from the grave, by your trust (belief), you will we saved and by extension, receive salvation and life through the end of the age. Remember the Lords prayer: His will be done on Earth as it is done in Heaven. You are not going to float around in some sort of disembodied state, out there some where. Roll up your sleaves. The Lord has much for you to do on this Earth which will become His revealed Heaven in his perfect timing. Read the end of Revelation. All of scripture speaks to the renewal and restoration of this Earth and the entire cosmos. Yeshua is the Lord of this Earth and “Ceasar” is not. You have to put your ‘weight’ on that Yeshua/Jesus’ sacrifice accomplished all that is required and that we could not. Its a debt too big, a debt we can’t pay, Jesus paid for us, settled our account.
Nobody, by following any sort of good works, will atone for their sins by anything they do. We must beleive in and accept what Jesus did. Go ahead and do good works as His follower … He has some specifically for you to do…[can’t readily find the vs. I have in mind]
If there was another way of redeemption why would Jesus go thru all He did? If there were anything that could save us, it would have been as simple as saying ‘I have showed you what you must do, do that.’ And for it to be fair, it would have had to be something every single person on earth,– no matter age, or health, or ability, or possessions, or culture into which they were born, was able to do.
Oh, there is something! Believe, receive, thank Him, worship Him forever!

I continually seek to understand all I can. CS Lewis, NT Wright and Rob Bell have approached this fire, as countless others have also done. All these authors are worth reading. CS Lewis’s ” The Problem With Pain” is especially good. Wright’s, thirty some books are all worth reading, Wright’s views on Heaven are worth noting. Rob Bell’s book, “Love Wins” is challenging and worth a second or third read. I sat under his teaching ministry at Mars Hill for several years. I usually come around (albeit sometimes with smelling salts faithfully administered by my wife) to your viewpoint -(though not a 100%), because of your scholarly research, logic, Hebraic mindset, persuasive communication skills, your love of the truth and the saints and the gentle coaching and coaxing of the Ruach HaKodesh. But you’ve stuck your quill into a main fundamentalist artery this time and the blood letting hasn’t yet let up; but the platelets are no doubt working overtime to speed the spiritual clotting necessary to restored health. Michael what if you had an entire meal of wonderful nutritious food, but one drop of poison. Would you still thank the poisoner? And what if the poisoner himself needed to hear that was an ungodly thing to do?
Dorothy, First and foremost, be careful not to confuse or replace “no fear” with “no respect”. Secondly, my doctrinal diet for those 35+ years was poisonous, and not just a drop or two here and there. That there was any life left in me is miraculous and for that I heartily thank YHWH. Apparently we can tolerate more poison than Satan can pour, but not without ill effect over time. For me to balk at one of Skip’s teaching is not an indictment of the teacher, but a call to question my long held beliefs in light of the Scripture, logic, revelation and anointed teaching. In my quest to communicate my feelings my rhetoric may be sometimes extreme, but know that my calling a particular teaching an apostasy is in relation to MY current understanding of Scripture and not a pronouncement of final judgement upon the subject or the teacher. One man’s greatest heresy is another man’s vital truth. I have great respect for Skip and his teaching. I can’t count the number of doctrines that I once held sacrosanct that have been since relegated to the ash heap of error, misconception and false teaching thanks to Skip’s blog and books. Finally, after surviving on a steady diet of poisonous doctrine my whole Christian walk, a drop or two of suspected “poison” won’t kill me, but in the end make me stronger as I test everything by the Spirit and The Word. I know of an Imaam in a “closed country” who, just like you, found that he had been fed “poison” for decades. And just like you he decided to study the Word of God to find the truth from God. At first he invited westerners to help him understand. He insisted they start at Genesis and continued from there. He bowled them over, because they wanted to start with John. Their knowledge of Torah was sketchy and they studied and learned with him. The Feasts of the Lord was an important study to find a breakthrough in explaining Yeshua as Messiah.
The Westerners found that the Jesus of Christmas and Easter was not the Yeshua of Pesach or the Feast of Tabernacles. They found “God” at the hands of an Imaam looking for Truth.
The Imaam now runs a weekly Bible Study for his own people in the mosque he runs and he is importing Bibles into his country.
He knows Yeshua as Messiah, but I think he picked up on YHWH as only salvation long before and I believe the Holy Spirit was the One to guide him to find Truth.
Michael, will you please remember this Imaam and pray for him every time you find new Truth (anti-poisons) ?

I can only imagine what faith and courage it must take to walk with Yah in a ‘closed land’ where the cost for being found guilty of proselytizing is certain martyrdom. I now live in a land (Jamaica) where they purportedly have the most churches in the world relative to their population – (and the most rum bars, illegitimate births and one of, if not the, highest murder rate per capita- go figure) but still I do not proclaim the name of YHWH and His Torah, except to those I’m confidant won’t shun me. But my eyes are slowly being opened to a world other than the shallow one of my own making. I must admit it will be a new thing for me to pray for an Imaam, other than for judgement to fall upon the lot of them, but then again my 35 years of poisoning could only lead me to that end. I would not argue too vigorously with this. I would point out, though, that all unbelievers “don’t know that Jesus is the Messiah.” Not knowing is not always not having heard. Many have heard and have decided not to know anyway.
Another problem with this is that it bases a doctrine on one Scripture. What Peter says in Acts 4:12 seems to do much to strengthen the teaching that Skip is trying to undermine here.
Finally, the apostle Paul saw the salvation of the Gentiles as being prevented by those who prevented him from going and preaching the gospel to them (1 Thessalonians 2:15-16). So, in Paul’s mind, people were in need of the gospel and not just the pre-creation sacrifice.

In which case it seems apparent we don’t get to write our own script, we’re just the actors on stage who must appear and say our lines on cue.
I always try to look at the dictionary(the Tanach,old Test) for answers on such once-off statements. And I think Isaiah 46:9,10 provides a clue.(hope I’m not reading it out of context) Futhermore I only now start to realize what an amazing understanding John had of the Father through his brotherly bond with Yeshua.
But why would the atonement of sin before the foundation wipe away my free will or responsibility to choose my own script? Isn’t it the same as in: God calls me, but I have a choice to accept or reject? Just because the atonement was done, doesn’t mean that I accepted it. God has His plan and how it works out in life is mostly(not always) up to me – and most of the times I only mess it up.(Chavah – choose what I think is good for me?) His Kingdom, His rules. Do you think one can ask what is His ultimate goal with us? To create a relational person,covered with the Ruach, that ultimately only thinks of God or neighbor? May be He knows that that is the only way to get a Kingdom of shalom? – ( pride is the shield that enthrones HaSatan)
And if I am only to act like He acts(actors) and say the lines He says, on His cue -I for one have a long way to go in rehearsing the Script!
I would not agree that we are only actors on the stage. The sacrifice before the foundation does not imply that the course of history is pre-determined. It only implies that the possibility of disastrous sin is already taken care of should it occur.
Sorry, should have said that don’t agree either, but that if someone choose to believe in a god as the puppetmaster, then either he or we are failing terribly. And since the puppetmaster is pulling the strings then it must be him.
I have come to terms with the atonement before the foundation long ago – does disastrous sin include murder, idolatry and adultery and if so, why then was there no atonement for it in the sacrificial system, but death penalty by stoning?
And was Yeshua’s death the atonement as the Red heifer and sin offer?

Doesn’t Paul address this very issue?

Isn’t the answer to this question found in Revelation 20::11-15 ???
Okay Skip, so how does this work then? Since Yeshua’s sacrifice is the entry point for all mankind, are you saying that all men who “truly desire to serve God and who embrace all that [they] know about God”…in any tradition…are all set, sin atoned for and bound for heaven? What about those Muslims who embrace everything they know of God from Islam, including the directive to convert or kill all infidels (Jews and Christians)? Are they good? I noticed you mentioned only Jews, Muslims and Christians in your commentary. Are you saying this only applies to those who embrace the Judeo-Christian God, YHWH, or does this apply also to Hindus, who embrace their local concept of god, as best they are able to know him/them, or people from areas where their only known concept of god is tribal (or for that matter, those who worshipped Molech or Asherah back in the day)?? Where is the dividing line, and, if all’s fair in love and worship, then why are those who don’t have any way of knowing the God of the bible penalized? Is it enough to “embrace god, however you understand him” and be fully committed to that? Then why does Yeshua Himself say that the “gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”(Matthew 7:14)
I get the problem created by the linear concept of Yeshua’s sacrifice at a point in time and how we try to explain salvation for the faithful who lived before He walked the earth (and the problem of those who are faithful in the Jewish tradition, but have not yet recognized Him as Messiah), but I refuse to create some extrabiblical (albeit rationally pleasing) answer to these questions when the Word of God itself does not provide one. In Romans 11, He DOES reaffirm His promise to the Jews, saying that after the full number of Gentiles have come to faith, all Israel will be saved. I don’t know how, but I do trust the God who promised this to fulfill all He has spoken. As for Ishmael’s offspring, there is no such promise. They enter in in the same way the rest of us Gentiles do, through FAITH in Jesus the Christ.
There are too many scriptures to mention (I CAN mention them if anyone is interested, because I spent a sleepless night with God reminding me of them after reading this entry) that state that it is by CONFESSION of Jesus Christ as Lord that we are all saved. Not simply by the fact of His being slain, but by the confession of our mouths that He is who God says He is. Show me one place in scripture where it says that His death and resurrection is sufficient for the salvation of those who don’t believe in Him.
If others want to imagine that this salvation is imputed to all, just because they are “sincere” in their efforts to try to worship God, have at it. I choose to believe what the bible says and trust God for the rest, knowing Yeshua and making Him known in my little corner of the world, and praying for God to make Him known in places where I cannot go. He does that in extraordinary ways, sending hands and feet, dreams and visions to people in the farthest reaches of the world. BELIEF IN HIM AND CONFESSION OF HIM AS GOD, SAVIOR AND SUFFICIENT SACRIFICE is the only biblical mechanism for salvation. I choose to believe what the bible says and trust God that He will not betray His own character in the outworking of that.

I think, and this probably the way it is usually understood, that the plan was in place before the creation, not the act itself. I don’t agree that the deed, Christ’s death, came before creation. But for the God who tells the end from the beginning who for all intents and purposes is outside of the linear time frame humans are bound to, the plan, from His perspective, was as good as a done deal from the beginning. While the when, from our perspective, was an integral part of the plan from the foundation of the world.
I agree that everyone could be saved but not that everyone will be saved. That all sin debt is paid but not all have accepted it for themselves. That it is Gods desire that not one should be lost, though we know there will be some, probable many who will be.
But I also believe that we have not seen “The rest of the story.” That the incredible Creator that made that witness “the Creation” may just be greater than we ever suspected, and that He may have a trick or two up His sleeve that we for the most part are not privy to. The greatest failing of human beings is underestimating God!

This is the argument of the ages, is it not? Free will vs predestination? It seems to me that it could be some of both, however, the scope of predestination is soley accurate through the lens of the Almighty One!! Man’s attempt to supersede and “be like Him” in this “knowledge” borders on prideful reluctance to admission of His being as Creator and Sovereign. As He was busy creating all things for His pleasure, how when and why He did so is simply beyond our imagination. If we COULD conceive of it, we could most likely come up with a way to change what He did. It has already been accomplished, so really there is no need to create it all over again. It is not for us to know at this point in “time”. Ours is simply to know Him through belief; not the ethereal mist of psychological understanding alone, but the concrete working out of our salvation according to do’s and don’ts. It’s sort of mindless to the extent that we either obey or we don’t? BUT, because of the 2 inclinations, yetzer hara and yetzer ha tov, we battle over the free will choice of choosing which way to proceed. Do I do what I WANT to satisfy ME or do I do what is beneficial to others, and act like Yeshua would? What a task, especially here in a world that is all about self-fulfillment.
True teachers are vital to the integrity of Torah. That is why I like Skip’s teachings. Oftentimes, I am completely blown away…but he makes me think. I do not always buy it at first. Many times it is the repetition that YHWH provides to make it sink in. AND rather than myopically accepting what someone spits out from any platform that denigrates the beauty of Torah, my goal is to test it within the boundary of the scroll that Messiah used.
The purpose of priests/judges and kings is why Torah is ultimately the guidebook of the ages (Prov 8), and will be what rules the Kingdom in the world to come. Without it, we are left alone to be criminal, judge and jury in one. And yes, as Fleetwood Mac and Frank Sinatra so eloquently sang respectively: You can go your own way and I did it my way. This is the mantra of human imperialism, overthrowing rightful place, His Kingdom in one’s heart.
This belief is defined through our knowledge of Him according to revelation whether it comes through the written or spoken(passed down in agreement with what is written) Word of YHWH. Our mission, if we choose to accept it, is to be the seeker and He has promised to be the Finder. Proverbs 8:17

This is a conclusion I have come to terms with over the years of running quite the gambit of religions. I continue my chase of the only Elohim that cared enough to chase me as I ran from one teaching to another. This is truly what separates Him from other elohim. Others were to be feared because they (in the minds of those who believed, of course) were only about themselves and believing humanity were at their “mercy” and whims. This seems to be revealed throughout the mythologies that dictated the belief systems of the ancients. Of course, we can look back and see the traits of man embedded within the characteristics and workings of these gods…wonder where those came from??? Who begat whom?? Sometimes I wonder the same with some denominational teachings, especially those that do not support Torah according to Christ.
YHWH is to be feared because He is the One and Only. PERIOD! The paradox of this fact is that although Yeshua created all things to the glory of the Father, He did so with our well being in His heart.
Michael, I absolutely love your term “in need of reform”! Yes, I resemble that term as well. If He could call Noah, Abraham, Moses and the like out of pagan societies and world views, I am certain, He can straighten out anyone who is earnestly seeking the Meaning of Life, rather than attempting to create it for themselves.

Just a few considerations to throw into the mix. 🙂 That salvation/deliverance was effected before the creation was put in order is pretty clear, It’s been stated in various places such as here;
1Jo 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
So, what “equals” salvation or damnation? (for anybody) Consider this verse, along with some others. (there are many)
Jhn 15:24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
“both seen and hated”… Knowledge is only “part” of the equation. It’s the rejection or acceptence of that which has been given that determines. Again consider this passage, (and all aroud it)
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
How does that work out to those in closed or isolated societies? I really don’t know, but there is the revelation of creation. Not just the trees, sun, rain and other things, but their relationships to one another. Is it a relationship of life and fruitfulness, or a relationship of destruction? How is it “supposed” to work? How is that same relationship to work amongst men?
Acceptentce or rejection, you pursue one or the other (life or death) they’re both active determinations. (in all cultures and societies)
Consider Abraham, birthed and raised in a society of idolatry.God reached him where he was. The difference between Abraham and his father seems to be that Abraham continued to pursue God in what he knew about Him whilst his father got “waylaid” in the affairs of life. (acceptence vs. rejection) So, when did Abraham get “saved?” When did he began to “know” God? He was faithful with what was given, so hewas given more. His father refused what was given, it was taken away. There’s a parable somewhere about that. 🙂 So it is with all men everywhere, God’s able to make Himself known by whatever means He deems appropriate. He’ll judge on the acceptence or rejection, hence the acceptence or rejection of tha person, because He’s the only one in the “know”.

Does that mean we can just “hang out” and let God take care of it? Not at all, we’re His ambassadors in all we say and do. Much of the evil presently being exhibited is due to the negligence of believers to confront ourselves and our sin in the “world” we live in. This statement speaks to me, first and foremost. Now I deal daily with those times of neglect with my family and friends. But, “Truly, God is good to Israel.” The process of deliverance is ongoing and it’s all by His working and strength. Blessed be the God and Savior of us all, Yeshua Ha Mesiach, He’s both able and faithful to finish the work He started in me and us.

Revelation 13:8 is NOT referring to the Messiah. It is referring to the anti-christ.If you read Revelation 13:6-9 you will see exactly who the verses are talking about. The anti-christ NOT the Messiah.
Try reading the verse in the ORIGINAL Greek rather than in a version that rearranges the syntax
