Skip From Crete

Well, my lectures on the ship are over.  Tomorrow we are at sea, then arriving at Venice.

I had, according to the Cruise Director, the largest crowds they had seen in 3 months.  Everyone was very receptive and positive.  I talked about the Greek heritage as we traveled the islands.  The last lecture concentrated on the tug of war over Hebraic and Greek paradigms within our culture.  Many people have come to me privately to ask questions and provide feedback.  It has been a very worthwhile trip.

I’ll try to send some other news and photos when we get to Venice.  Home in the week!

My wife and I loved your lectures on the cruise. You sure packed out the room! I have encouraged Celebrity to ask you back again. Hopefully, as Captain’s Club Elite members, Celebrity will listen to us. They were one of the highlights and something that we looked forward to. We have now become fans of your teachings and look forward to learning more. Do you have any organized trips to Israel? If not, we would encourage you to do so. It would just be fantastic to have you teach and host a trip to Israel. We will be buying the Israel tape available on line.

One last thing. As an attorney, I was taught the Socratic method of analysis and thinking. In law school they taught us that this is the way to think like a lawyer. But they never told us the basis and the history of why this thinking was so important. You filled the gaps and taught why this thinking is so important. For 30 years I have been thinking like a lawyer, but never knew the basis and history of the Socratic method of thinking like a lawyer.

We hope to hear you again.

Thanks. Mark and Judy Caruso

HalleluYAH!! Changing of mindsets are so vital to understanding the context of Scriptures.
And a good clear teaching is just as vital, well done, Skip. :-))
