Gone to the John C. Stennis
Dear Readers,
This morning I will be on my way to Hawaii to board the John C. Stennis US Navy Aircraft Carrier at Pearl Harbor. I will be with my daughter Rachel on the ship for 7 days from Pearl to San Diego. During that time I will NOT have internet or phone, so there will be no comments from me until April 30. Today’s Word will continue as usual
Patrick will handle the comments on the blog and all the other stuff he does so well.
I am so excited about seeing Rachel after 8 months deployment and sharing a bit of her world.
Be back on 1 May.

Be blessed on your trip. I’ll keep you all in my prayers’
. . . just using this space to say Hi, Robert — so you won’t think I’m ignoring you — I don’t see a place for reply on your last night’s post. This is the best place for me, but not the proper place to answer.
Reply under the original response from Michael, it will show up in the proper order. 🙂
Wow! What a ship! Do they have guest quarters for visiting dignitaties or do you sleep in sleeping bag. Sounds like a great experience no matter what. Have a wonderful time!
I hope you have a wonderful time at sea with your daughter. What an amazing experience to have. You talk about memories!!! Blessings and Shalom to both of you.
Never late to wish you Happy Adventure, Skip. Our love and blessings to Rachel.
ABBA with you!
To Skip and Rachel as they sail the smooth-as-glass Blue water (Navy talk for open ocean), I give it now even tho you can’t hear it until later. God holds the Blue water in the hollow of His hand.
