THE IRENE EXPLOSION
Well, we did it! Thanks to your support for Irene, her world has changed forever. And YOU DID IT!
Just before I left for the aircraft carrier, I started getting dozens of emails from all over the world asking about Irene. This was quite perplexing since, as you know, we started the fund for Irene some months ago. By the time I got to Pearl Harbor, I discovered that the article I wrote about Irene that was posted to the At God’s Table web site had been picked up by WHIS News 21 in South Africa. They ran the story just as I wrote it including the pictures that I took. Suddenly the world knew about Irene and what we have done to help her.
And now it seems that everyone wants to get on board.
So far Irene’s story has been on the local news in South Africa, the biggest newspaper in the country and many other web sites. She was visited by the South African president of the Olympic Committee, several reporters and others. I have received requests from as far away as Russia, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands. Who knows? Maybe Irene will be used by God to become the spokesperson for the tragedy of the White squatter camps.
Of course, there have already been critics and skeptics. Several people blogged that this was a Nigerian scam. They didn’t bother to check out any of the story before saying this. Then I got an email (full of very foul language) that claimed this was all just White racism. But most of the emails have been very positive, including those from coaches, athletic companies and other organizations that want to help Irene. I hope this all turns out as a truly God-given blessing. But I do fear that a lot of it will be nothing more than a human interest story soon to be forgotten by the press. Let’s pray that this does not blow over and that all those who read or see it will be changed. I know that we will NOT forget Irene, nor forget to be thankful that God is doing something that we could never have imagined.
So, the news is GOOD! Really good! This cyber community has done something that made the world stand up an notice. Thank you!

In Genesis 3:6 there is absolutely no evidence for Paul’s interpretation of the so called deception

Paul’s view of women? Apparently you haven’t read Guardian Angel which clearly shows that Paul’s “view of women” is a fabrication of the Church and not true to the text. Paul would be cheering for Irene like the rest of us.

I did read your book and I seem to come across it every day while looking for one I can’t find
My personal issue with Paul is more about his persecution of Jews than his “view of women”
At the same time, I think it is a very serious issue if Paul’s view of women is only a fabrication
Of the Church
Because if the text is in part a fabrication of the Church, then the NT itself is in part corrupt
And I find that very disturbing, to say the least
But what I can’t get my mind around at all is why we are so forgiving of Paul’s sins
Please correct me if I’m mistaken, but Paul was responsible for killing many innocent Jews
Paul never knew Jesus, but Paul persecuted those who followed Jesus, The King of Kings
Paul went on to become a great leader, a man of great spiritual depth
And a Saint in the Church
But, to put Paul into a contemporary context, what he did as a “mature” man
Was very much like the recent bombings by the juvenile delinquents in Massachusetts
Their massacre of innocents
Amein! One of the best books ever, exposing lies about the roles of women; and is a great source of blessing to marriages.

This apparently is a response after earlier news that Sascoc was not sure they would help her, because there was too much publicity and the focus was more on the situation on the whites in the camp than on her talents.
but the truth is bigger than her talent. Being in a White squatter camp for 7 years IS THE STORY! If she were not in the squatter camp, someone would have recognized her long ago. The fact that the government ignores these people and does nothing to help them IS THE PROBLEM. And it took an American and an outside community to make a difference.

YES WE CAN. And in spite of the fact that our community will never be recognized for what we did, we know that God smiles on us. We ministered to the downtrodden and the poor as if it were our Lord.

Thank you skip, for inviting us to help with Irene. The miracle is ongoing now, and I still feel like she is so unprepared for what is upon her. She might not need our money, but certainly our prayers for her life and purpose to be accomplished for her and the whole camp. Do you have plans to be in touch with her? Please keep us posted, I think I have adopted her.
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Now she needs our prayers more than ever because the world’s eyes are upon her and they will turn her into just one more sad Cinderella story if they can. I hope that Irene will show her true courage by becoming the voice of all those oppressed in those camps. Let us pray for her ability to listen to God more than ever.
Taken by her story and achievements I sent mail to the ones I found on the article, will through my social network look into how we might help her and the situation many white Africans suffer today.
