On the Radio – link

Here is the link to the live radio show that I did this morning, covering topics such as the problem with law and grace in Galatians, biblical translations and the formation of the Christian church.

Hope you enjoy it.

Hi Skip,
I clicked on “Click Here” and downloaded it, but, I’m not getting any sound. Has anyone else had this problem?

Suzanne

I listened to it last night and had the same problem but it resolved itself when I downloaded it a second time. Hope that works for you.

Sandra

Enjoyed it very much!!

You talked about the 9 prohibitions in regard to Sabbath. What are they?

Sandy

Ester

Skip, that was great! Hope that sets many a-thinking. You boldly covered many points, way to go!
Looking forward to the next few interviews.
(that interviewer sounds so much like my son-in-law, amazing!)

Teresa

Great interview! Thank you for posting it! Wish we could come hear you in VA Beach. 🙁

I enjoyed it very much as well, but as you said at one point, the answers to their questions are worthy of phD dissertations. I’m very interested in understanding the historic formation of the Christian church and you quickly referenced a few authors/books. Could you list them here or add them to the Recommended Reading List?

Ross

Skip,

It’s just what everyone so desperately needs to hear. To encourage all to STOP, check WHAT they are listening to and WHERE it is coming from. HOLD it up to the true context of the writings and then make a DECISION how to walk from then on. We felt we had been robbed of so much and I felt angry with myself to fall into that trap of a “Revelational Reliance” on others to show me how things should be and who Messiah was. We need each other to exhort and encourage on this journey in His Word and continue to be humble and teachable with a servant’s heart. Thank you for all involved and the continual effort to strive for a more intimate knowledge of our Saviour. Please pray that many will come and hear more during your UK trip and that eyes/hearts and ears might be opened as we seek to worship Him, Be Blessed and Shalom.

Julie

Skip,

I am very grateful that a friend of mine who suggested to receive your daily Today’s Word and the 30-day Teachings of Greek-Mindset versus Hebraic Mindset. YaHVeH, many times over, has given me revelations of expounded Truth of His inspired Word through these! I am blessed!

Since I have moderate to severe hearing loss and unable to comprehend the words spoken over the radio waves, I would love to receive the transcripts of your radio talks; especially on the topic of Law and Grace. I am gathering the truth on this subject before I can share with others.

Thank you! Shabbat Shalom!

Only just had the opportunity to listen to this interview….it was excellent and like many others may feel, it encourages me that their are men/women like you out there endeavouring to get people to reassess, think, study and walk differently. I also found the references to cultural differences, thinking and interpretation very relevant. I like David am married to an Ethiopian and our struggles are always about language – what one is saying but what the other is hearing! I find I have to constantly go to Yah to help me not to use my western mind set and preconceived ideas when he is telling me something that I may already have made up my mind about and in fact unconciously stop listening. He also often says ‘I dont understand what you are talking about’ and I am perplexed as in my mind it is simple and straighforward!! Oyveh!! It can be explosive sometimes, (smile)!!

This made me think, while listening to the interview how that exact situation occurs when a Torah walking believer begins to talk with a Christian or visa versa – we think and speak from our strongy held positions sometimes without going to the trouble of defining our terms/context etc. How true is your constant mantra…we need the historical context and to let go of the world view we have inherited and hold so dear in order to be able to embrace the biblical world view. On that note I would recommend to anyone interested in learning more about what the biblical view on life is – Skips series on ‘Understanding the Biblical World View’ I found it excellent and learned a great deal about the two different views -world versus biblical.

I was so happy that I could listen to this interview today as I am back in Ethiopia, after a few weeks in the UK, with an updated computer with excellent audio sound …and today, decent internet coverage! So a very enjoyable morning listening to this enlightening interview.

On a personal note -We are at the beginning of researching how best to make Aliyah – my husband is a falasha so we have a certain process to go through and hope to have an interview with the Jewish Agency in the next couple of weeks. Would welcome your and the communities prayers as we embark on this next step we believe YHWH is taking us on.
Blessings to you and your family and the community. We have no community here but have been told there are some Messianic fellowships which we are trying to locate….but it will all be in Amarhic so difficult for me as I dont speak the language (hard as I have tried to learn it…it is a difficult language and I think my age 60+ dosent help!) However we are always encouraged by TW and feel we have many fellow followers of the way out there in cyber space!
