Amazing. Completely different image of Israel than usual. Thank you.

Tonya

Wow! This needs to be framed and on display.

Great pic!

Ester

Hi Michael, where have you been hiding? Hope all’s well with you? Missing you at the blog!
Shalom!

Michael C

Thanks, Ester.

Things are well here. Just been busy doing this and that.

I’ve been reading the daily TW’s and responses, just haven’t had time to construct much response of my own.

Thanks for missing me. 🙂

Tonya

Hope you don’t mind me jumping in here uninvited, but wanted you to know I’ve missed your posts too. You one of the many here with lots of good things to say and say them well so I hope you are finished with that book soon 🙂 My husband is also working through that one… I think his first comment was “Oh my!”

Michael C

Hi, Tonya.

Thanks, and, no, I certainly don’t mind you jumping in. I’m always a little surprised that someone actually considers what I say because it seems frequently, from inside my brain, it’s always a little confused and grasping to stay afloat with all the stuff that’s out there. So, thanks for your statement. That’s encouraging.

I’ve been grappling with Skip’s offering that the forgiveness part came somehow before the foundation of the world and Yeshua came to deal with the sin=death part by killing death, so to speak. One thing leads to another and, wham, my brain is in a spiral whirlpool attempting to sort out all parts.

It’s fun, though. And fulfilling trying to penetrate the depth of truths encased in our Scriptures.

I know I don’t have to understand electricity to use it so simply and commonly every day. On the other hand I have become aware of the complicated, intricate and mysterious elements convoluting together. That is what entices and grips me so much in my later years. I only wish I had started this search earlier and more seriously. We enjoy the simplicity of electricity daily because someone else has pried open many of the complexities of this energy source for us such that it becomes common. We mistakenly, at times, confuse common with total, as if that’s all there is to it.

I see Skip as one of those that dives in to the complexities of Biblical truths and makes it simple for simple folk like me to enjoy it daily and practically.

No, I don’t have to understand physics, biology, and all the other sciences to enjoy electricity. But, for some reason, I certainly have been enjoying trying to decipher all those mysterious things that make my toaster, car, and fan work.

So, again, thanks for jumping on the train ride with me. I do enjoy a good gust of wind in my face as I stick my head out the window as oft as I can.

Also, I’ve been neck deep reading Skip’s book, “God, Time and the Limits of Omniscience.” I’m doing a lot of side reading just to be able to attempt to understand and log in all that Skip discusses. Quite the treatise! And it’s very fascinating. So my brain is pretty locked up these days.

Michael C

I can imagine the convulsions of a few contributors in here have just in being confronted with the title of this book.

“Limited?”

What heresy!!!

Omni vs Limited.

No oxymorons allowed!

Ester

Wow, sun looks like an egg lol. I love that splash! Well caught on camera.

Skip – Where was this taken?

Tonya

Michael C,

Yes, I’m thinking a lot on the atonement, death defeated at cross teachings too. And I can’t help but wonder if Pesach is a remembrance of our protection from death which coincides with the cross where death was finished, then what amazing, earth shattering event will happen when He comes for the Fall Feasts and is atonement actually going to be “finished” in a sense then too? Like atonement is past, present and future… The teachings and discussion have been inspiring, have allowed some pieces to “fit” that didn’t before and had made “faith” seem more current. Like today is a vibrant expectation versus a holding pattern until he comes…if that makes any sense.
Looking forward to more good stuff!
Blessings!
