When I was in South Africa, I spoke to a group of women at a shelter for abused and battered women. They wanted you to see who they are so you could pray for them.
Thank You, Father, for these precious daughters. Strengthen them to be able to accept their worth to You as created beings with a unique purpose. Allow them, Abba, to see themselves as You see them. Holy Spirit, rise up within them and push out cultural norms and generational patterns and just plain sin that have caused them to believe that somehow they deserve this. Bring the restoration of wholeness to women everywhere for Your glory! Thank You, Father, for the Truth of Your word that establishes women as bearers of Your image. omein v omein

We lift up these very precious souls into Your care, ABBA, may Your healing be upon them, may they not be oppressed by the hurts inflicted upon them. May they be delivered out of such cruelty and wickedness.
YOUR light disperse all darkness and chaos from their lives, filling them with Your joy and strength! Amein!
Thank You, ABBA for the opportunity for Skip to minister Your love and concern to them, and having us involved as well in this ministry.
We so appreciate Your chesed towards mankind! Thank YOU, ABBA!

Skip,
Thank you for showing us the lovely faces of these women and letting them be imprinted on my mind, so that I can see each face as I pray.

It’s been my belief for a long time that when I see a woman crying, I know something is wrong. None of these women are crying. They are enjoying a brief respite from their tears. For a very small moment, something is right. May God lengthen that moment for them and give them clear hearts and clear minds to know what to do.

O My God, I pray to You that You teach these women who they are IN YOU. Teach them Who You are and that they can belong to You, the KING OF KINGS. Their identity doesn’t need to be not wrapped up in the social evils/domestic chaos of their lives. Prick their souls, LORD, to turn to You in cries of repentance and desire to recognize Your love for them, no matter their circumstances.
For those who know You, Father God, I ask for Your supernatural intervention. Give them Your words, Your actions, Your leading as to what can be done to remove themselves from the abuse. Show them how to protect their children.
Thank You, YHVH, that they found this meeting with Skip! His warm smile and tender way brought a serenity to their souls, I am sure.
