Buyers who live in the EU

I have been informed that as of 1 January 2015, the EU will change the tax rate on all electronic books. Instead of charging tax on the basis of the author’s nation, tax will be charged on the basis of the buyer’s nation.  That means if you live anywhere in the EU, you will be paying more, in some cases, a lot more, for my eBooks.  This will include everything purchased through Amazon.  So may I recommend if you are thinking about purchasing one of my eBooks from my website, do it now before you have to pay the VAT.

The governments want the money.  They always do.  It’s just Rome in another form.  Give them as little as possible.
