I often wonder what happened to the craftsmen who spent their lives building things like this. Today we sacrifice art for efficiency. It is much the same with our spiritual condition. We are so focused on our needs that we forget that God is the greatest craftsman, and that all great works of art take enormous amounts of time, including making us into His image.
I wonder that same thing when I see a work of art like this. In James Michener’s book “The Source” there is a lot of detail about a man who is a mosaic artist. It goes into some detail of where the stones come from and how he creates the mosaics with them. It is clear in the book that his talent is highly sought after and valued. If you ever come across a stone mosaic please take a picture of that too!
So much details, that work takes a lot of patience ,just as our heavenly Father has with us
