Two Prayer Requests
Rusty Ward, a faithful supporter of At God’s Table, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. As many of you know, my dear friend John Baldwin died earlier this year from the same disease, so Rusty’s request for prayer has a special impact on me, and I am sure all those who knew and loved John. Please offer supplications to the Lord for his recovery. Rusty asked for “wisdom, grace, mercy. and guidance of our Lord for me and my family as we go through this time together.”
Tim Spoleti, whom I have known for many years now, is also asking for prayer concerning family conflict with his nearly-adult teenage daughter. These transitions are particularly difficult with the pressure of a godless culture. So please keep Tim’s family in mind too.
Thank you. I will be offering prayers at the Western wall in Jerusalem.

I plan on joining you at the Western wall, Skip. I, too, will stand with you in these prayers.
Thank you for sharing these, Skip.
I (and we, I think) will definitely pray for these members of our community. Please, when possible, let us know how things are going so we can continue to pray.
We are praying, Skip. Thanks for sharing.
I have known personal friends who have recovered from that, nothing is impossible. Cancer does not kill.
Many supplements to help combat include- selenium, omega 3, Vit D, good clean Baking Powder without mercury content to lower acidity (avoid coffee) keeping a PH balance, zinc, Green tea, curcumin from the spice tumeric, vitamin C & E, dandelion root (high in anti-oxidant), lemon grass, are some examples.
Some excellent sites to look into-

ABBA, we lift up Rusty Ward, and, Tim Spoleti and their individual circumstances before You, please guide, bless them with Your wisdom, and healing. Thank You, for Your chesed and mercies.
Amein.
I will definitely keep Rusty and Tim in my prayers.
Re: Prostate Cancer: On a positive note, it’s generally a VERY slow growing cancer. Unfortunately, John’s was an aggressive form and discovered very late (too late.)
But, if caught in time, most men will end up dying of something else, but not prostate cancer.
I pray that Rusty’s is the “slow” kind and that he gets good counsel from his doctors and support from family and friends.
Re: Conflict with teens: I’m all too familiar with that as well. It’s a difficult time for the whole family but I pray that God gets you through it (sanity intact) and with a Wisdom that only He can provide. Sometimes all we can do is “love them through it, and hang on for the ride.”
I appreciate this community and the prayers from anyone associated with TW. Judi, your note means a lot to me because of what you lived through with John. We will definitely keep you in our prayers too.
Rusty, praying YHWH will shine His face brightly on you and yours, and that YHWH will give His amazing shalom during this season of affliction.
Tim, praying YHWH will give you wisdom in responding to your daughter’s unruly behavior. May YHWH grant you penetrating insight into loving her back into His embrace.
YHWH is King!
Will be praying for both. It is hard to deal with the ‘C’ word. I had cancer in the back of my eye. It is two years now and a good recovery. I am also dealing with an estrangement from a son, but he is soon to be 36 years old. I was unaware of it brewing for 12 plus years. On a positive note I had a restful blessed time with the Tom Elsinger family over the last 2 days.
I have had these two prayer requests on my Prayer List. I have been wondering the status. Is it possible to get updates?
I will find out forthwith.
