In my humble assumption up to 90% of religions are man made, as someone has to form a view and with enough conviction he/she can convince millions of its truth all based on single biblical records taken out of place… Paul said some will earn a living from their evangelistic efforts while others will do it out of love. Both are not from God as Jesus said we must stay in Jerusalem until empowered by the holy ghost to do something…
To claim something is from the holy ghost is also an indicator that it should be questioned as Jesus promised that when we are led by the spirit we will not know when, why or where we are experiencing this – we will just do it. God will manifest what is important and as I understand the church or rather a spontaneous gathering addressing a mutual Godly concern, not the practicing or participation of a rite or ritual.
