Oh, I do not want to miss voting! I clearly love the animal picture best : it does not matter if it is the leopard, the jaguar, tiger, or the “king of the beast: the Lion”. The reason being is the scriptures in Isaiah 11:6, and 7. It gives us hope: 6. “the wolf will live with the lamb”,” the leopard will lie down with the goat,”, “and the calf and the lion and their yearling together”, and little child will lead them.”
v. 7. “the cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox”. The NIV Study Bible
With all the past evils that we have record of, and the present evils on every hand, things that we never dreamed of happening here in our own U.S.A. Also, we have traveled and lived in a third world country, and have seen the PAIN in lives of many nations; I need all the verses possible to calm me and give some peace. This octogenarian rejoices when I think of the blessings and comfort we are given in God’s Word.
Thank you Skip for giving us such pictures for your birthday. Mine was one month ago today, April 9. “It truly is more blessed to give than receive”! So I know that you are rejoicing over the joy you have given to all of us! May you live as long, or longer than me! L.B.
