SOMETHING SPECIAL in 2017
In 2017 I will be lecturing on the new ship, Viking Star, with Viking Ocean Cruises. I will be on the ship from October 26 to December 7 during three cruises. Each cruise goes to the same ports but in different directions since the cruises go from Rome to Athens, Athens to Rome and then Rome to Athens again.
Here’s why you might be interested. Each cruise spends several days in Israel with excursions to many places. And the ship ports in several Greek islands, Rome and Athens. That means in one cruise of two weeks you and I can follow some of Paul’s journey, see the influence of Greek thought on the West, visit the center of Christianity and be in Jerusalem and other places in Israel. There is ample time to make each port a place of visual and auditory learning. And you only have to unpack once. Of course, everything is included and there are even some offers on discounted air fares.
If you are interested in any of these three cruises, I’ll be there. We can talk together, eat together and walk the streets of all these places together. It will be a lot of fun.
