I pray for the bat colonies in the US. They are rapidly declining, people believe evil of bats but they are integral to our eco system. Their destruction and death are seen as good things, it breaks my heart! I would have them as pets, but people would freak and it would probably not be good for the bats.

I live in a 100+ year old house. I like watching bats swooping through the trees at dusk in the summer…when they manage to find their way out of the attic into the house in the winter…not so much.

Our Honey Bee population is in serious trouble as well.
I never understood the meaning of the phrase, “like a bat out of hell”, until I learned to connect it to the meanings of the Hebrew word “Sheol”.
