Years ago when we met you recommended that when we got to Sienna we should look up near a side door (I think) of the Duomo for a view of something unspecified. We did so but we think we might have done so in the wrong location. If you remember the conversation do you have a picture of your recommendation that you can post? Thanks.
The location I suggested was Santa Croce in Florence. The side door takes you to the perfumery and past a small chapel and a view of some amazing artifacts. I am here in Siena. No side door to the Duomo. Too bad.
