Remembering

As I get ready to fly back to the USA, I remember what a great experience it was to see some of the creation in the wild.  Maybe next time you will come with me.

Awesome pictures Skip! Thanks for bringing to us what we were not able to get to see for ourselves!

Nature is the great Artist’s kaleidoscope. I feel it is essential for our spirits and bodies and minds to refresh ourselves frequently in that tremendous cathedral. Even Yeshua taught His disciples to retire to the wilderness to refill their tanks, and we know where He went so often to pray all night: up the mountain wherever He was.

I know we all are better off, Skip, when you are, and I am glad that you share your spirit’s refreshment with us when you take the time out to go where you have found such a precious thing. There was a time in my life that only the wild creatures were able to communicate the love of God to me. As awfully low as I was then in every other way, I hold that experience precious because of what I received from those humble, faithful messengers. May your tank be full today as you head back for home!

I really love cats and have a huge fascination with the big cats! Thank you for these pictures. These are just awesome! You must have one awesome zoom lens!!
It’s cold back here in the states!

Wow! Thanks for sharing. I’m reminded of the passage that says, “carefree, in the care of God“. Must be Eugene Peterson. That’s just what it looks like. They neither toil, nor spin, yet our heavenly father cares for them! How much will He care for you then, oh you of little faith !

Meg

I love them all. It must be thrilling to be up close and personal with these animals. How awesome. That is a gift from YHVH. From Him to you. Safe travels.

Thank you, Skip, for this refreshment. Yah’s creatures, all unique, all with purpose. So much beauty! Traveling mercies, dear friend!

The last one is priceless! Your pictures with all the detail. As good as it gets except BEING THERE! 🙂

I love the zebra picture, too. I do not have TW for today unless this is it. And if so, one of your best I must say.

Have a safe flight!

Animals are so endearing and as much as I relate to these wild cats (in the photos only) as though they are domesticated like my niece’s adorable cat that I often cat-sit, I’m sure to confront & be in the presence of these wild ones, it would be an awe inspiring experience akin to the fear of the Lord. My friend confronted a big bear while working in the Yukon, NWT and he had a Holy Ghost experience!

You’ve been blest on his trip Skip. All three the big cats in their natural habitat…. A truly remarkable safari this must have been. Beautiful pictures thanks for sharing.

Can you download these pictures and have copies made, like enlarged? I love all of the pictures but when you do a close-up of the first one, the eyes are amazing. I fell in love. Ther’s something about animals. What a gift of God !

Man Skip these are some great photos especially the last where his tail is hanging down. When my friend Patty comes out to see me, I’m going to show these to her. She’ll be blown away. We’ll have to plan on the safari trip in the future. Would be so totally awesome.
