Life in the “Red Zone”
As you probably know, Italy has enforced a “lock down” of most of the northern provinces. Parma is one of these. So 16 million people, including us, are now prevented from traveling. Life in Parma is changing. The Italian economy will probably crash. We are fine, but these great people here aren’t.
Here are some pictures that show the story.
The main street to the train station
The line waiting to get into the grocery store (only 15 people at a time are allowed to enter)
And my friend, Aziz, from Morocco, still selling flowers to make his living.
