What else can I write with one hand to tell you how much it meant to hear from so many of you. Please forgive the mass reply but it hurts to write so one message will have to do for now. I am so grateful.

THE IRONY of all this is that last week I finished my new book, a book of poems about traveling in the wasteland. It’s titled Broken Bits. I guess it was an omen.

Do you remember meeting my five sons? They were all excited over your return and all want to see you this summer (except one can’t because he moved to Pensacola a month ago. 😢). We love you, Skip.
