Italian Souvenirs
It only took 10 seconds but in that time my life changed dramatically. On my bicycle, a truck forced me off the road and I crashed. These will be with me for 40 days. Rosanne and I are re-evaluating the Summer schedule. According to witnesses, I came within 2 inches of going under the truck. God was watching. Leg and hand broken, but I’m not dead.
Oh my goodness! What a close call, and clearly, God still has work for you to do. I am giving thanks today that your life was spared, and will pray for your healing to be uneventful, and your restoration complete.
I’ve never taken you for granted Skip. Never will. Glad your still with us.
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”
For our sake… give up the bike riding near traffic, and keep your clothes on.
As horrifying as it was to read about I can’t imagine going through that experience!! You’re a tough guy – will pray for a complete recovery!
Skip, be forewarned- there will come those meddling wannabe prophets who will try and tell you what God is trying to speak to you through this horrific experience. I am no longer one of those naysayers, thanks in part to your teachings these many years; but since we are made in His image and are united to Him through Messiah, I suspect, like all of us, He is saying “take it easy, mend well and quickly” or words to that effect. Profit from our prophetic advice!
amazing rescue, Skip! Our Great God, that faithful Shepherd, is tending you with purpose and love. We are THANKFUL!
Oh my! I’m so thankful this was merely a forced time out. Joining all those who are interceding for your recovery, restoration, and his merciful and sustaining grace.
Wow! I am so sorry this happened but very thankful it wasn’t far worse. Praise Yah for His merciful protection. Prayers for a complete healing, brother.
Skip, so sorry to hear about your prang! A bit of déjà vu when you did your Achilles’ tendon back in 2019.
May HaShem watch over you and may your recovery is quick, so you can get back on that bike again.
Cheers from us Down Under, Jackie & Chris
