Robert Alter’s Introduction

A few days ago I mentioned that the Introduction of Robert Alter’s translation of the Hebrew Bible was crucial reading in order to understand the complexities between Hebrew and English, and to know why current English Bibles are more or less misdirected.

Of course, you would have to buy the 3 volume set to read the Introduction, so I have copied just the introduction for you.  You can read it HERE.  However, this is in no way an attempt to violate copyright laws (I have been a victim of the same) and it is only to encourage you to save your money and buy the translation.  In the meanwhile, read this and you will see why.
