Home again, Home again

Well, we are back in Parma.  Frankly, it’s so nice to be here.  Here are a couple of shots of the street on Saturday afternoon.  You will notice it isn’t like anywhere in the USA.  Of course, this is Italy in August.  Everyone is on vacation–not a good time to come as a tourist since 70% of places are closed.  I also included a few shots of the Italian Alps from the flight.  Just a reminder of Alaska.  What’s also missing here is the vitriol and antagonism of the US political scene.  Little crime, slower pace, friendly faces and just a nice atmosphere.  It’s good to be home.
