THE NEXT BOOK(s) STUDY
We will look at two rather short books by the same important author, Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik.
The first is his analysis of the circumstances of a person of faith:
The Lonely Man of Faith
It is just over 100 pages and quite easy to read. If you prefer not to purchase it, a document of the citations I will review will be in the “additional materials” section when you register for the study (the same is true for the second book).
If you do purchase it, please use the links as this will help support At God’s Table.
The second book is another short one called Halakhic Man. This book presents a compelling case for Torah obedience. Here is the purchase link.
Both are well worth having in your library.
The study will start on September 24 at the usual 8:00 AM Eastern (USA) time and follow with the usual 8:00 AM time on September 25. We will then continue each Saturday and Sunday until we finish.
See you in about one month.
