What’s Left Behind

Water wears away stones, its torrents wash away the dust of the earth; so You destroy a man’s hope.  You forever overpower him and he departs; You change his appearance and send him away.  Job 14:19-20 NASB

Wears away – Yes, it’s true that wind and water erode and wash away.  But what’s left behind is often strikingly beautiful.  Just imagine what you will look like after God wears away the edges.

Topical Index: wears away, Job 14:19-21

Yes!… imagine that form— such form which bears and is marked with the image of God— whose image is impressed upon us. Hallelujah!

Great pics.
It is a great paradigm shift to understand that our shaping is meant for action in this life. We are meant to actively engage as God’s children/representatives in this world to make changes and not to focus on the afterlife. More often hope for the afterlife is the prime directive instead of the hope for now and how we are active agents of God and not passive.
Above is reminder for me but my brain needed to see it in text format.
