Rachel joins the John C. Stennis Super Carrier
Yesterday I went to Pensacola to see my daughter Rachel graduate from A school. Today she shipped out to her command on Whidbey Island where she will join a squadron assigned to the John C. Stennis.
For those of you who have followed her journey to Zambia, to the Navy and now to the command, here are a few pictures from a very proud father. It was incredibly moving to see these young men and women recite a code of honor – and mean it!
Dearest Rachel
Congratulations! What a lovely achievement. As they say:” go big or go home” and you are certainly going all the way (while still looking gorgeous)!
WP and Lara are both so excited for you. WP says that this is what he wants to be and do after finishing school!
May it always be a privilege for you to passionately sow the seed of YHWH and that where ever you go, others may have a taste of the fruits of your life and will be curios to what Diet you are following.
We love you and be blessed!
Rachel,
Congratulations on your graduation and new assignment. These great pictures certainly convey the joy of that day. May you continue to experience blessings from the Father as you walk in His Way.
Rachel, I would like to share something with you – a link of a sermon by Eric Ludy of Ellerslie in Colorado – when i awoke this morning I was thinking of this video & how regimented it seemed with a code of conduct as your father noted above – something to think about for sure – the sermon title is Made Excellent for Marriage & ties into a previous sermon regarding Eric’s small son Hudson & this is how Eric/dad is teaching his son/Eric to be a Little Heroic Lover & would also like to know what your dad thinks of this video – is it too regimented/law/Torah to follow or have most of missed the boat on this one – Rachel you have not missed your boat so far… ♥ I know that in the Navy/military you have had to be regimented as a Little Heroic Lover – they/the military will have it no other way… ♥
