Travel Apologies

Mind you, I’m not complaining.  I love seeing my readers in person.  I love teaching face-to-face.  But as of this moment, I have 72 travel days on the calendar between now and Christmas.  That’s a lot of air time.  What it means is that I am not able to stay up with email questions and blog comments.  Right now I am behind about 3 weeks.  So, if you asked me to comment on something, or you sent me a question, please don’t feel offended if I have not responded.  It is quite likely that I will never catch up.  So you might not get an answer to my thoughts on a passage in Daniel or my take on the eucharist or how I interpret a passage in Revelation.  I continue to write Today’s Word, and I blog when I can, but the rest might have to wait until He returns – in which case you won’t need to ask me.

All of you have been wonderfully supportive of this path.  Without you I wouldn’t be seeing readers face-to-face.  That’s more important to me than anything else.  I hope you understand.

And besides, a good rabbi teaches his students to think for themselves – and to eventually replace him.
