Father, at this time in Bessy’s life there is only ONE who is able to draw near unto her and to comfort her and we humbly ask in the Name that is above all names that You dear LORD would be to her all that she needs both in this hour and in the days ahead.
In times like these we need a Savior, and ONE who is nearer than a brother to us. Send you ministering angels and the precious family of God, saints and sisters, to Bessy’s side to aid and to assure her, You will never leave nor forsake her nor her household. I offer this prayer because of Your invitation, and because Calvary’s cross made this petition possible, -amen.

I am too well acquainted with the emotions involved in these kinds of events. For me the warm embrace of a loved one comforts more than all of the well meaning words of condolences, which are still greatly appreciated and do provide support in periods of grief. Even so let us praise our Lord G-d, who, by His own word and Spirit can fully envelope us with His loving kindness, assurance and comfort. Amayn

Bessy, In this time of great sorrow, shock, pain and incredible sense of loss, know that you and your family are being lifted up in prayer before the only One who will comfort you. Adonai Yir’eh knows of your loss and your sorrow and He will lift you up and carry you through. Hallelujah, that you can go to Him to find comfort.
You are the great G-d and Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and Bessy’s Father too. Embrace her in your never let go embrace and love and may she and her family experience Your nearness in this time of trouble. Mighty Father bless her family and all the families involved with Your overshadowing presence and comfort, in the mighty name of Yeshua our King and Lord.
Wonderful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, source of every mercy, thank You for being near to the brokenhearted and saving those who are crushed in spirit. Let Bessey feel your closeness so much so that she will feel she will bump into You if she were to turn suddenly around. Thank You for Your Precious Holy Spirit given to live inside our hearts. Lay like a cushion over the pain. Apply the balm in Gilead. Be the Lifter of her head. Hold her on Your lap.
Bessy, your God is able to — and will do — as His Beautiful Word says in Jeremiah 31:13
“I will turn their mourning into gladness. I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.”

Sounds a bit suspicious to me but, in any case, it makes one wonder why it is that Yahweh
Puts us through so much pain (acknowledging that relative to Bessy, mine are trivial)
And brings to mind the old truism: “to be grateful, things could always be worse”
Originally the thought was kidnapping as that is prevalent and explained why there was no word about him. Later they discovered his car and body in a ravine. How it all happened is not yet clear to me, but it looks like an accident. Either way, it is an enormous tragedy. Please keep Bessy and the family in your prayers.
Please tell Bessy that people all over the world are praying for her.

I don’t wish to appear callous, but it may be that, in time, she will be comforted by the fact that there was closure regarding his fate, rather than the ever-present wondering where he was, how he was, etc. May God bless and comfort her and her family at this time of enormous loss.
I must say amen to this and wonder if she needs us to help cover the inevitable expenses.

From the depth of my heart I call unto Thee, O God and Father! let me find strength and consolation in prayer! It pleased Thee, in Thine isrutable wisdom, to berave me of my husband, Italo, and my children of thier father; where, then O God! can I find consolation, if not with Thee, who directest the cause of all widows and orphans.–I am alone, and forsaken, whither shall shall I flee? To Thee alone, who art the Supportof the falling, the Refuge of the forsaken, and the Redeemer of all the oppressed. Oh! with a broken and lacerated heart I stand before Thee, for the dark are the prospects of the future; but my hope in Thee is my consolation. Thou wilt illlumine the darkness, heal my borken heart and upllift again my depressed spirit. Have mercy upon me and my fatherless children. Let me not fall into he hands of men, to stand in the need of their gifts and presents, but do Thou feed and sustain me for Thy mercy is exceeding great. Be Thou with me and assist my feeble strenght in the education of my children that I may safely lead them through the rugged and perilous paths of life into the the way of eternal beatitude and salvation. In a way, I was relieved Italo, blessed be his name, was not kidnapped, nor would he be subjected to torments. And indeed it has closure for Bessy.

May God comfort you in this time of great loss! In all the tears there is this one assurance: we will meet again in the ressurrection! He has promissed us that death will be abolished!
But for now, may your tears be gathered in His bowl and written in His book! Be assured: He will never leave you and guide you all the way no matter how hard it may be for now.

Been out of touch for several days now. So very saddened to hear of this loss in Bessy’s life. May YHWH bring comfort in the way only He can provide.
I can´t express the gratitude I feel with Skip and every one of you who has lifted a prayer for my me and my husband. Words are limited and seem insufficient to thank you for every prayer lifted to our Lord.
I KNOW that I stand because of the prayers of many people around the world. At this time, I am mostly unable to pray, so I just literally lift my eyes to the Lord and I know He knows. It is your prayers that sustain me.
Every prayer of yours is a link that I walk upon over an abyss, and each link takes me one step closer to the other side. I don´t know why my husband was called at 46 years of age, I don´t understand, but I know He does so there is a purpose and a reason and it´s really none of my business to know, it´s all His. But each of you are angels sent to make sure I get where I need to go when I can´t walk on my own.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for liftning me up, thank you for allowing me to walk upon your prayers. Thank you.
