I am not a Robot
Sometimes when you add a blog comment on the website, you are asked to fill in a check box to prove you are a real human and not an automated machine response. I know this is annoying, but there is a very good reason for this security. My tech guy, Mark, writes:
“You could tell people that the reason your spam protection sometimes senses a possibility that they may be a Bot, is because every single web site that someone goes to on the internet logs their IP’s addresses and if one of the many websites they go to, that’s logged their IP, is for whatever reason deemed a potential spammer or has had flags placed on their websites, then the persons IP that went there may also start receiving suspicions as well. That doesn’t mean they’ve done anything wrong but, it doesn’t matter.
Because you get bombarded by 1000’s of spam comments a day without this particular spam protection program, we have no other choice but to have such aggressive and sensitive spam protection.
That’s just the reality and consequence of today’s internet and matters pertaining to website security. I can assure you that people would like it even less if for some reason your website were to get hacked because of a unfriendly Bot, God forbid, and trojans, worms, viruses, malware etc, and all there other malicious stuff that’s out there, were to get attached to someones computer. But, without the massive security measures I’ve worked to place on your site, as I do every website I build and manage, it could happen.”
Thanks for understanding.

With a complete lack of understanding how this laptop of mine interacts with the world I access, especially this unique community I find on Skip’s website, I’ve wondered of the implications in the control that can be exerted over an IP address.
Would I wear that mark to maintain contact with the few who read God’s Word with an understanding of the way I do?
And in doing so, submit?
If you are asking if the choice is to stand with a Seal of YHVH, or stand with a mark of a beast, isn’t either one, to stand? To be marked as His, or to be marked as the world’s, aren’t both marked? Both seen? And who still thinks they are going to hide? From the Throne OR the world? But, Richard Gambino, I hope I would count it an honor if I could stand with you. And, if this site is a standing place for Him, may it be blessed, is my prayer. For all of us. Baruch Atah Adonai.
Hi Laurita!
My comment was centered on the quoted explanation that Skip provided and the IP address recording by every website one may visit leading to the ability to associate the IP address with the spammer designation of the recording website…whew that was long!
My worries are that one day we may be confronted with a central entities ability to control access or at least record one’s IP address as being subversive to that central entities interests. If one day there should come a time when such websites such as Skips are thought to be subversive (and many of my mainstream ‘Christian’ friends think I may be going that way when espousing my new understanding of God’s Word) and pressure is applied to those who access Skips offerings as noted through IP address recording…there may be a denial of such address granting exerted through control parameters.
And it is not hard to see that the world is quickly moving to an age where a great deal if not an overwhelming amount of commerce and communication is operating through the possession of an IP address.
Ours and other governments obtain knowledge of who is subversive to their interests by watching who is accessing websites considered subversive platforms and knows who is accessing those sites by identifying IP addresses. It is in a way a ‘Mark’ that we all wear and I don’t imagine for a minute it is given by our God.
Could it be that we already “stand with a mark of a beast”? And as such is it the one we will stand with?
Without this IP address I would probably be standing in isolation as it is now.
Richard, I agree, and relate to what you have written above. Some emails that I forward to someone in US, gets my laptop ‘frozen’ and I then can no longer add in more names in the Bcc thereafter. I have to sign off, and sign in again after a while. These days I add that person’s e-address last. That seems to work, but no longer can I forward any further emails, until I sign out and in again. Annoying indeed.
Shalom.
My biggest challenge with the security was that I couldn’t figure out where to type it in and it disappeared to quickly to figure it out. Could he explain that part please?
LOL, the same thing happened to me, and I just assumed that it was because I was 81 years old and could not think and work fast enough.! GOD IS STILL ON HIS THRONE, SKIP IS SENDING GOOD THINGS OUT ONCE AGAIN, SOME ARE GETTING THEM, OTHERS ARE SPEAKING VIA WRITING, AND THE SUN CAME OUT AGAIN FOR THREE DAYS IN A ROW, AFTER ABOUT TWO MONTHS OF SELDOM SEEING IT! AND MANY ARE “SEEKING THE LORD WITH ALL THEIR HEARTS, MINDS, SOUL, AND MORE! SO I WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD FOR THIS DAY! AND A WAYWARD GRANDDAUGHTER HAS RETURNED TO ALL OF THOSE THINGS I JUST WROTE. SHE WILL BE HERE SAT. FOR A FEW HOURS WITH HER FINANCE, WHO IS WALKING ALONG SIDE HERE. LAVAYE BILLINGS
LOL 😀
Praise YHVH for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
Ahhh… What webs we weave 🙂
There was a post a while ago inviting the community to join a social interaction page of some kind. I think it was called, “We’ve been Skip’d” or something like that. Interested, I tried to get involved but couldn’t get past the captcha phrase security. If anyone can tell me how to get back there, I’ll try again. Thanks.
Warren, I had the same problem as well. I must have tried 50 times without success. Finally I emailed the moderator and she added me to the list. Michael
I wrote SOS FOR THAT, AND SKIP REPLIED, AND YOU CAN FIND HIS REPLY TO MY SOS IN THE TW, Hardsayings. ( OF COURSE YOU MUST SKIM THRU TWO-THIRDS OF ABOUT THIRTY COMMENTS, TOWARD THE BOTTEM .
I HAD BEEN WRITING TO KEES AND ASKING FOR IT FOR HIM. THEN SKIP REPLIED TO THAT. ( I skimmed the web site , and found the # was limited, and I did not continue on with it, as I did not want to take up someone ‘s space that really needed it. I have plenty of people in my life to keep up with!! One of my friend;s spoke to others in front of me, and stated, :” LaVaye keeps up with nearly all her old friends from 1950′ on, that are alive!” It is true. But I still miss my dearest friend, my husband of 61 years, who departed this world (olam’ aba) and joined the great throne of those in the next world, in June, 2013, at 84 years of age. I’ll do the same then. Thanks Michael. Do you still have that address or know where I can find it?
you have to have a Yahoo account, i finally got mine closed and am loath to open any more ‘accounts’.
and i’ve been ‘roboted’ all over the place lately. it’s a conspiracy. 😉
