Interesting photo of modern times: one is exhausted and lays his head on the Torah and hoping something will sink in. Another is texting, common place in today’s classroom while the teacher is emphasizing a point. Another is amused from the bleachers. Out of the five students, two are engaged with the Rabbi. Average statistics for classroom participation, although I believe it is much less in public schools. May Adonai bless our youngsters to be tomorrow’s leaders.
