Return from the Bush

The African safari trip is over.  Everyone had a marvelous time, not only seeing animals but also witnessing God’s handiwork in all of creation.  We watched the Milky Way light up the sky (with no electric lights).  We studied termites and dung beetles.  We saw baby zebra and giraffe.  We saw lions and cheetah and dozens of wonderful birds.  And we prayed together, talked about God’s influence in our lives and shared our experiences.

We are ready to do it all over again.  Maybe next year.

Here are a few images I managed to take.

Skip, for those of us that couldn’t attend I want to say that your pictures are priceless! Thank you so much for sharing. For a brief moment, the pictures take me there and I can only imagine what actually being there must be like!

That first picture is out of this world!
Would it be sunrise seeing the trees are still not lit up?

That’s great photography! Got to be quick to capture the scene, or miss it entirely. Toda!!!

Here are some of our american friends that experienced the safari with a few south africans. David, Dan, Marilyn and Tom, Vivienne and Keith. Many thanks to the young adventurer, Alistair! And to Skip for all the trouble to make this a reality…even to the south africans with their believe in Jewish roots! I must also compliment the staff of Wilderness safaris!

I have family in Chinhoyi. Love Africa.
