Scenes from Eger, Hungary
We were visiting a friend and reader in Eger. She arranged for us to see some pretty special places. Just for your enjoyment:
First, two photos of the ceiling of the Minorite church in the Dobo square.
Then the ceiling of the music auditorium at the university.
I keep wanting to find “Where’s Waldo” in the music auditorium ceiling painting. And then I imagine adding some “Hidden Pictures” like those that I used enjoy trying to find in the classic American children’s magazine, “Highlights”, in my pediatrician’s waiting room.
The wonderous creativity of God that He so liberally shares
and imbues with man as well, is magnificently on display
in scores of churches throughout Europe. Thanks, Skip,
for sharing what you’re fortunate to experience directly,
via the skill of your lens.
