A Last Day Surprise

Today we are in Milan getting ready to fly back to the USA for the Virginia Beach conference.  And, by accident, I happened to find some references to the Certosa of Milan, a place that looked interesting but one I had never seen.  One hour of metro, tram and walking later, I arrived.  WOW!  I was so amazed.  And I met several people who work to preserve these sites (which will now be on the list for the Italian conference we are planning).  Here are the LOOK UP, LOOK DOWN, LOOK AHEAD pictures.  There are a lot more, with lots of history about what happened in Italy after Henry VIII broke from the Catholic Church.  So much to learn.  Enjoy these.  Maybe you will see them in person some day.
